בְּשִׁלֹ֑ה bə·ši·lōh; in Shiloh GRAM DICO

וְשָׁ֞ם wə·šām And [were] there GRAM DICO

שְׁנֵ֣י šə·nê The two GRAM DICO

בְנֵֽי־ ḇə·nê- sons GRAM DICO

עֵלִ֗י ‘ê·lî, of Eli GRAM DICO

חָפְנִי֙ ḥā·p̄ə·nî Hophni GRAM DICO

､

לַיהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וַיְהִ֣י way·hî and whenever came GRAM DICO

וַיִּזְבַּ֖ח way·yiz·baḥ for to make an offering GRAM DICO

וְנָתַ֞ן wə·nā·ṯan and he would give GRAM DICO

לִפְנִנָּ֣ה lip̄·nin·nāh to Peninnah GRAM DICO

אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ ’iš·tōw, his wife GRAM DICO

וּֽלְכָל־ ū·lə·ḵāl- and to all GRAM DICO

בָּנֶ֛יהָ bā·ne·hā her sons GRAM DICO

וּבְנוֹתֶ֖יהָ ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯe·hā and daughters GRAM DICO

מָנֽוֹת׃ mā·nō·wṯ. portions GRAM DICO

רַחְמָֽהּ׃ raḥ·māh. her womb GRAM DICO

וְכִֽעֲסַ֤תָּה wə·ḵi·‘ă·sat·tāh And provoked her GRAM DICO

צָֽרָתָהּ֙ ṣā·rā·ṯāh her rival GRAM DICO

גַּם־ gam- also GRAM DICO

כַּ֔עַס ka·‘as, severely GRAM DICO

בַּעֲב֖וּר ba·‘ă·ḇūr to GRAM DICO

הַרְּעִמָ֑הּ har·rə·‘i·māh; make her miserable GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- because GRAM DICO

סָגַ֥ר sā·ḡar had closed GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

בְּעַ֥ד bə·‘aḏ had shut up her GRAM DICO

רַחְמָֽהּ׃ raḥ·māh. her womb GRAM DICO

וְכֵ֨ן wə·ḵên So GRAM DICO

יַעֲשֶׂ֜ה ya·‘ă·śeh it was GRAM DICO

שָׁנָ֣ה šā·nāh year GRAM DICO

בְשָׁנָ֗ה ḇə·šā·nāh, by year GRAM DICO

מִדֵּ֤י mid·dê when GRAM DICO

עֲלֹתָהּ֙ ‘ă·lō·ṯāh she went up GRAM DICO

בְּבֵ֣ית bə·ḇêṯ to the house GRAM DICO

תַּכְעִסֶ֑נָּה taḵ·‘i·sen·nāh; she provoked her GRAM DICO

וַתִּבְכֶּ֖ה wat·tiḇ·keh therefore she wept GRAM DICO

וְלֹ֥א wə·lō and not GRAM DICO

תֹאכַֽל׃ ṯō·ḵal. did eat GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO

לָ֜הּ lāh to her GRAM

אֶלְקָנָ֣ה ’el·qā·nāh Elkanah GRAM DICO

אִישָׁ֗הּ ’î·šāh, her husband GRAM DICO

תִבְכִּ֗י ṯiḇ·kî, do you weep GRAM DICO

וְלָ֙מֶה֙ wə·lā·meh and why GRAM DICO

לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO

תֹֽאכְלִ֔י ṯō·ḵə·lî, do you eat GRAM DICO

וְלָ֖מֶה wə·lā·meh and why GRAM DICO

יֵרַ֣ע yê·ra‘ is grieved GRAM DICO

לְבָבֵ֑ךְ lə·ḇā·ḇêḵ; your heart GRAM DICO

הֲל֤וֹא hă·lō·w [am] not GRAM DICO

אָֽנֹכִי֙ ’ā·nō·ḵî I GRAM DICO

ט֣וֹב ṭō·wḇ better GRAM DICO

לָ֔ךְ lāḵ, to you GRAM
