פִּתְגָמָ֖א piṯ·ḡā·mā A letter GRAM DICO
שְׁלַ֣חוּ šə·la·ḥū they sent GRAM DICO
עֲל֑וֹהִי ‘ă·lō·w·hî; to him GRAM DICO
וְכִדְנָה֙ wə·ḵiḏ·nāh and this GRAM DICO
–
כְּתִ֣יב kə·ṯîḇ was written GRAM DICO
בְּגַוֵּ֔הּ bə·ḡaw·wêh, in which GRAM DICO

גְּלָ֔ל gə·lāl, heavy GRAM DICO
וְאָ֖ע wə·’ā‘ and timber GRAM DICO
מִתְּשָׂ֣ם mit·tə·śām is being laid GRAM DICO
בְּכֻתְלַיָּ֑א bə·ḵuṯ·lay·yā; in walls the GRAM DICO

וַעֲבִ֥ידְתָּא wa·‘ă·ḇî·ḏə·tā and work GRAM DICO
דָ֛ךְ ḏāḵ this GRAM DICO
אָסְפַּ֥רְנָא ’ā·sə·par·nā diligently GRAM DICO
､
מִתְעַבְדָ֖א miṯ·‘aḇ·ḏā goes on GRAM DICO
וּמַצְלַ֥ח ū·maṣ·laḥ and prospers GRAM DICO
בְּיֶדְהֹֽם׃ bə·yeḏ·hōm. in their hands GRAM DICO

אֱדַ֗יִן ’ĕ·ḏa·yin, Then GRAM DICO

אִלֵּ֔ךְ ’il·lêḵ, these GRAM DICO
כְּנֵ֖מָא kə·nê·mā [and] thus GRAM DICO
､
אֲמַ֣רְנָא ’ă·mar·nā spoke GRAM DICO
לְּהֹ֑ם lə·hōm; to them GRAM
מַן־ man- who GRAM DICO
שָׂ֨ם śām commanded GRAM DICO
לְכֹ֜ם lə·ḵōm you GRAM
טְעֵ֗ם ṭə·‘êm, command GRAM DICO
בַּיְתָ֤א bay·ṯā temple GRAM DICO

דְנָה֙ ḏə·nāh this GRAM DICO
לְמִבְנְיָ֔ה lə·miḇ·nə·yāh, to build GRAM DICO
וְאֻשַּׁרְנָ֥א wə·’uš·šar·nā and wall GRAM DICO

דְנָ֖ה ḏə·nāh this GRAM DICO
לְשַׁכְלָלָֽה׃ lə·šaḵ·lā·lāh. to finish GRAM DICO

וְאַ֧ף wə·’ap̄ And also GRAM DICO

שְׁמָהָתְהֹ֛ם šə·mā·hā·ṯə·hōm their names GRAM DICO
שְׁאֵ֥לְנָא šə·’ê·lə·nā we asked GRAM DICO
לְּהֹ֖ם lə·hōm them GRAM
לְהוֹדָעוּתָ֑ךְ lə·hō·w·ḏā·‘ū·ṯāḵ; to inform you GRAM DICO
דִּ֛י dî that GRAM DICO
נִכְתֻּ֥ב niḵ·tuḇ we might write GRAM DICO
שֻׁם־ šum- the names GRAM DICO
גֻּבְרַיָּ֖א guḇ·ray·yā of men the GRAM DICO
דִּ֥י dî who [were] GRAM DICO
בְרָאשֵׁיהֹֽם׃ ḇə·rā·šê·hōm. chief among them GRAM DICO

הֲתִיב֣וּנָא hă·ṯî·ḇū·nā they returned us GRAM DICO
לְמֵמַ֑ר lə·mê·mar; saying GRAM DICO

אֲנַ֣חְנָא ’ă·naḥ·nā we GRAM DICO
הִמּ֡וֹ him·mōw are GRAM DICO
עַבְדוֹהִי֩ ‘aḇ·ḏō·w·hî the servants GRAM DICO
דִֽי־ ḏî- of GRAM DICO
אֱלָ֨הּ ’ĕ·lāh the God GRAM DICO
שְׁמַיָּ֜א šə·may·yā of heaven GRAM DICO
וְאַרְעָ֗א wə·’ar·‘ā, and earth GRAM DICO
､
וּבָנַ֤יִן ū·ḇā·na·yin and we are rebuilding GRAM DICO
בַּיְתָא֙ bay·ṯā temple the GRAM DICO
דִּֽי־ dî- that GRAM DICO
הֲוָ֨א hă·wā was GRAM DICO
בְנֵ֜ה ḇə·nêh built GRAM DICO
מִקַּדְמַ֤ת miq·qaḏ·maṯ ago GRAM DICO
､
דְּנָה֙ də·nāh this [is] GRAM DICO
שְׁנִ֣ין šə·nîn years GRAM DICO
שַׂגִּיאָ֔ן śag·gî·’ān, many GRAM DICO
וּמֶ֤לֶךְ ū·me·leḵ and a king GRAM DICO
לְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ lə·yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
רַ֔ב raḇ, great GRAM DICO
בְּנָ֖הִי bə·nā·hî which built GRAM DICO
וְשַׁכְלְלֵֽהּ׃ wə·šaḵ·lə·lêh. and completed GRAM DICO

לָהֵ֗ן lā·hên, But GRAM DICO
מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO

הַרְגִּ֤זוּ har·gi·zū provoked to wrath GRAM DICO
אֲבָהֳתַ֙נָא֙ ’ă·ḇā·ho·ṯa·nā our fathers GRAM DICO
לֶאֱלָ֣הּ le·’ĕ·lāh the God GRAM DICO
שְׁמַיָּ֔א šə·may·yā, of heaven GRAM DICO
יְהַ֣ב yə·haḇ He gave GRAM DICO
הִמּ֔וֹ him·mōw, them GRAM DICO
בְּיַ֛ד bə·yaḏ into the hand GRAM DICO
נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּ֥ר nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·neṣ·ṣar of Nebuchadnezzar GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
בָּבֶ֖ל bā·ḇel of Babylon GRAM DICO

[כסדיא] kas·dā·yā  -  GRAM
(כַּסְדָּאָ֑ה) kas·dā·’āh; Chaldean the GRAM DICO
､
וּבַיְתָ֤ה ū·ḇay·ṯāh and temple GRAM DICO
､
דְנָה֙ ḏə·nāh this GRAM DICO
סַתְרֵ֔הּ saṯ·rêh, [who] destroyed GRAM DICO
וְעַמָּ֖ה wə·‘am·māh and people the GRAM DICO
הַגְלִ֥י haḡ·lî carried away GRAM DICO
לְבָבֶֽל׃ lə·ḇā·ḇel. to Babylon GRAM DICO
