וְאַחַר֙ wə·’a·ḥar And after GRAM DICO

מִבָּבֶ֔ל mib·bā·ḇel, from Babylon GRAM DICO
וְהֽוּא־ wə·hū- and he [was] GRAM DICO
סֹפֵ֤ר sō·p̄êr a scribe GRAM DICO
מָהִיר֙ mā·hîr skilled GRAM DICO
בְּתוֹרַ֣ת bə·ṯō·w·raṯ in the Law GRAM DICO
מֹשֶׁ֔ה mō·šeh, of Moses GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- which GRAM DICO
נָתַ֥ן nā·ṯan had given GRAM DICO
–
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֣י ’ĕ·lō·hê God GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; of Israel GRAM DICO
וַיִּתֶּן־ way·yit·ten- and granted GRAM DICO
ל֣וֹ lōw him GRAM
הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO
כְּיַד־ kə·yaḏ- according to the hand GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֤ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהָיו֙ ’ĕ·lō·hāw his God GRAM DICO
עָלָ֔יו ‘ā·lāw, upon him GRAM DICO
כֹּ֖ל kōl all GRAM DICO
בַּקָּשָׁתֽוֹ׃ baq·qā·šā·ṯōw. his request GRAM DICO

מִבְּנֵֽי־ mib·bə·nê- [Some] of the sons GRAM DICO
יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO

וּמִן־ ū·min- and GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֲנִ֨ים hak·kō·hă·nîm the priests GRAM DICO
､
וְהַלְוִיִּ֜ם wə·hal·wî·yim and the Levites GRAM DICO
､
וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֧ים wə·ham·šō·rə·rîm and the singers GRAM DICO
､
וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִ֛ים wə·haš·šō·‘ă·rîm and the gatekeepers GRAM DICO
､
וְהַנְּתִינִ֖ים wə·han·nə·ṯî·nîm and the Nethinim GRAM DICO
､
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם yə·rū·šā·lim; Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
בִּשְׁנַת־ biš·naṯ- in the year GRAM DICO
שֶׁ֖בַע še·ḇa‘ seven GRAM DICO
לְאַרְתַּחְשַׁ֥סְתְּא lə·’ar·taḥ·šast of Artaxerxes GRAM DICO

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם yə·rū·šā·lim to Jerusalem GRAM DICO
בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ ba·ḥō·ḏeš in the month GRAM DICO
､
הַחֲמִישִׁ֑י ha·ḥă·mî·šî; fifth GRAM DICO
הִ֛יא hî that [was] GRAM DICO
שְׁנַ֥ת šə·naṯ in year GRAM DICO
הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖ית haš·šə·ḇî·‘îṯ the seventh GRAM DICO
לַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ lam·me·leḵ. of the king GRAM DICO

לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ la·ḥō·ḏeš of the month GRAM DICO
הָרִאשׁ֔וֹן hā·ri·šō·wn, first GRAM DICO
ה֣וּא hū he GRAM DICO
יְסֻ֔ד yə·suḏ, began GRAM DICO
הַֽמַּעֲלָ֖ה ham·ma·‘ă·lāh [his] journey GRAM DICO
מִבָּבֶ֑ל mib·bā·ḇel; from Babylon GRAM DICO
וּבְאֶחָ֞ד ū·ḇə·’e·ḥāḏ and on the first [day] GRAM DICO
לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ la·ḥō·ḏeš of the month GRAM DICO
הַחֲמִישִׁ֗י ha·ḥă·mî·šî, fifth GRAM DICO
בָּ֚א bā he came GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם yə·rū·šā·lim, Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
כְּיַד־ kə·yaḏ- according to hand GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהָ֖יו ’ĕ·lō·hāw of his God GRAM DICO
הַטּוֹבָ֥ה haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh the good GRAM DICO
עָלָֽיו׃ ‘ā·lāw. upon him GRAM DICO

כִּ֤י kî For GRAM DICO
עֶזְרָא֙ ‘ez·rā Ezra GRAM DICO
הֵכִ֣ין hê·ḵîn had prepared GRAM DICO
לְבָב֔וֹ lə·ḇā·ḇōw, his heart GRAM DICO
לִדְר֛וֹשׁ liḏ·rō·wōš to seek GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
תּוֹרַ֥ת tō·w·raṯ the Law of GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
וְלַעֲשֹׂ֑ת wə·la·‘ă·śōṯ; and to do [it] GRAM DICO
וּלְלַמֵּ֥ד ū·lə·lam·mêḏ and to teach GRAM DICO
בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל bə·yiś·rā·’êl in Israel GRAM DICO
חֹ֥ק ḥōq statutes GRAM DICO
וּמִשְׁפָּֽט׃ ū·miš·pāṭ. and ordinances GRAM DICO
