וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר way·ḏab·bêr And spoke GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
מֹשֶׁ֥ה mō·šeh Moses GRAM DICO
､
לֵּאמֹֽר׃ lê·mōr. saying GRAM DICO

Exode 16, 12
שָׁמַ֗עְתִּי šā·ma‘·tî, I have heard GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
תְּלוּנֹּת֮ tə·lūn·nōṯ the complaints GRAM DICO
בְּנֵ֣י bə·nê of the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
–
דַּבֵּ֨ר dab·bêr speak GRAM DICO
אֲלֵהֶ֜ם ’ă·lê·hem to them GRAM DICO
､
לֵאמֹ֗ר lê·mōr, saying GRAM DICO
､
בֵּ֤ין bên at GRAM DICO
הָֽעַרְבַּ֙יִם֙ hā·‘ar·ba·yim twilight GRAM DICO
תֹּאכְל֣וּ tō·ḵə·lū you shall eat GRAM DICO
בָשָׂ֔ר ḇā·śār, meat GRAM DICO
､
וּבַבֹּ֖קֶר ū·ḇab·bō·qer and in the morning GRAM DICO
תִּשְׂבְּעוּ־ tiś·bə·‘ū- you shall be filled with GRAM DICO
לָ֑חֶם lā·ḥem; bread GRAM DICO
–
וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם wî·ḏa‘·tem and you shall know GRAM DICO
כִּ֛י kî that GRAM DICO
אֲנִ֥י ’ă·nî I GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh [am] Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem. your God GRAM DICO

Exode 16, 13
וַיְהִ֣י way·hî So it was GRAM DICO
､
בָעֶ֔רֶב ḇā·‘e·reḇ, that at evening GRAM DICO
וַתַּ֣עַל wat·ta·‘al and came up GRAM DICO
הַשְּׂלָ֔ו haś·śə·lāw, the quails GRAM DICO
､
וַתְּכַ֖ס wat·tə·ḵas and covered GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה ham·ma·ḥă·neh; the camp GRAM DICO
､
וּבַבֹּ֗קֶר ū·ḇab·bō·qer, and in the morning GRAM DICO
הָֽיְתָה֙ hā·yə·ṯāh  -  GRAM DICO
שִׁכְבַ֣ת šiḵ·ḇaṯ lay GRAM DICO
הַטַּ֔ל haṭ·ṭal, the dew GRAM DICO
סָבִ֖יב sā·ḇîḇ all around GRAM DICO
לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃ lam·ma·ḥă·neh. camp GRAM DICO

Exode 16, 14
וַתַּ֖עַל wat·ta·‘al And when lifted GRAM DICO
שִׁכְבַ֣ת šiḵ·ḇaṯ layer GRAM DICO
הַטָּ֑ל haṭ·ṭāl; of the dew GRAM DICO
､
וְהִנֵּ֞ה wə·hin·nêh and there was GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
פְּנֵ֤י pə·nê the surface GRAM DICO
הַמִּדְבָּר֙ ham·miḏ·bār of the wilderness GRAM DICO
דַּ֣ק daq a small GRAM DICO
מְחֻסְפָּ֔ס mə·ḥus·pās, round substance GRAM DICO
､
דַּ֥ק daq [as] fine GRAM DICO
כַּכְּפֹ֖ר kak·kə·p̄ōr as frost GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
הָאָֽרֶץ׃ hā·’ā·reṣ. the ground GRAM DICO

Exode 16, 15
וַיִּרְא֣וּ way·yir·’ū So when saw [it] GRAM DICO
בְנֵֽי־ ḇə·nê- the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל yiś·rā·’êl, of Israel GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֨אמְר֜וּ way·yō·mə·rū and they said GRAM DICO
אִ֤ישׁ ’îš one GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
אָחִיו֙ ’ā·ḥîw another GRAM DICO
､
מָ֣ן mān what [is] GRAM DICO
ה֔וּא hū, it GRAM DICO
؟
כִּ֛י kî for GRAM DICO
לֹ֥א lō not GRAM DICO
יָדְע֖וּ yā·ḏə·‘ū they did know GRAM DICO
מַה־ mah- what GRAM DICO
ה֑וּא hū; it [was] GRAM DICO
.
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
מֹשֶׁה֙ mō·šeh Moses GRAM DICO
אֲלֵהֶ֔ם ’ă·lê·hem, to them GRAM DICO
ה֣וּא hū that [is] GRAM DICO
הַלֶּ֔חֶם hal·le·ḥem, the bread GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
נָתַ֧ן nā·ṯan has given GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֛ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
לָכֶ֖ם lā·ḵem you GRAM
לְאָכְלָֽה׃ lə·’āḵ·lāh for food GRAM DICO

Exode 16, 16
זֶ֤ה zeh This [is] GRAM DICO
הַדָּבָר֙ had·dā·ḇār the thing GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
צִוָּ֣ה ṣiw·wāh has commanded GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO
:
לִקְט֣וּ liq·ṭū let gather GRAM DICO
מִמֶּ֔נּוּ mim·men·nū, it GRAM DICO
אִ֖ישׁ ’îš every man GRAM DICO
לְפִ֣י lə·p̄î according to GRAM DICO
אָכְל֑וֹ ’ā·ḵə·lōw; each one's need GRAM DICO
､
עֹ֣מֶר ‘ō·mer one omer GRAM DICO
לַגֻּלְגֹּ֗לֶת lag·gul·gō·leṯ, for each person GRAM DICO
､
מִסְפַּר֙ mis·par [according to the] number GRAM DICO
נַפְשֹׁ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם nap̄·šō·ṯê·ḵem, of persons GRAM DICO
–
אִ֛ישׁ ’îš every man GRAM DICO
לַאֲשֶׁ֥ר la·’ă·šer for [those] who [are] GRAM DICO
בְּאָהֳל֖וֹ bə·’ā·ho·lōw in his tent GRAM DICO
תִּקָּֽחוּ׃ tiq·qā·ḥū. let take GRAM DICO

Exode 16, 17
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ־ way·ya·‘ă·śū- And did GRAM DICO
כֵ֖ן ḵên so GRAM DICO
בְּנֵ֣י bə·nê the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; of Israel GRAM DICO

וַֽיִּלְקְט֔וּ way·yil·qə·ṭū, And gathered GRAM DICO
הַמַּרְבֶּ֖ה ham·mar·beh some more GRAM DICO
､
וְהַמַּמְעִֽיט׃ wə·ham·mam·‘îṭ. and some less GRAM DICO

Exode 16, 18
וַיָּמֹ֣דּוּ way·yā·mōd·dū So when they measured [it] GRAM DICO
בָעֹ֔מֶר ḇā·‘ō·mer, by omers GRAM DICO
､
וְלֹ֤א wə·lō and nothing GRAM DICO
הֶעְדִּיף֙ he‘·dîp̄ had left over GRAM DICO
､
הַמַּרְבֶּ֔ה ham·mar·beh, he who gathered much GRAM DICO
וְהַמַּמְעִ֖יט wə·ham·mam·‘îṭ and he who gathered little GRAM DICO
לֹ֣א lō no GRAM DICO
הֶחְסִ֑יר heḥ·sîr; had lack GRAM DICO
–
אִ֥ישׁ ’îš every man GRAM DICO
לְפִֽי־ lə·p̄î- according to GRAM DICO
אָכְל֖וֹ ’ā·ḵə·lōw each one's need GRAM DICO
לָקָֽטוּ׃ lā·qā·ṭū. had gathered GRAM DICO
