וַיְהִ֧י way·hî So was GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהִ֛ים ’ĕ·lō·hîm God GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ- with GRAM DICO
הַנַּ֖עַר han·na·‘ar the boy GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּגְדָּ֑ל way·yiḡ·dāl; and he grew GRAM DICO
､
וַיֵּ֙שֶׁב֙ way·yê·šeḇ and dwelt GRAM DICO
בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר bam·miḏ·bār, in the wilderness GRAM DICO
､
וַיְהִ֖י way·hî and became GRAM DICO
רֹבֶ֥ה rō·ḇeh a great GRAM DICO
קַשָּֽׁת׃ qaš·šāṯ. archer GRAM DICO

בְּמִדְבַּ֣ר bə·miḏ·bar in the wilderness GRAM DICO
פָּארָ֑ן pā·rān; of Paran GRAM DICO

וַתִּֽקַּֽח־ wat·tiq·qaḥ- and took GRAM DICO
ל֥וֹ lōw for him GRAM
אִמּ֛וֹ ’im·mōw his mother GRAM DICO
אִשָּׁ֖ה ’iš·šāh a wife GRAM DICO
מֵאֶ֥רֶץ mê·’e·reṣ from the land GRAM DICO

אֲבִימֶ֗לֶךְ ’ă·ḇî·me·leḵ, Abimelech GRAM DICO
וּפִיכֹל֙ ū·p̄î·ḵōl and Phichol GRAM DICO
שַׂר־ śar- the commander GRAM DICO
צְבָא֔וֹ ṣə·ḇā·’ōw, of his army GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
אַבְרָהָ֖ם ’aḇ·rā·hām Abraham GRAM DICO
､
לֵאמֹ֑ר lê·mōr; saying GRAM DICO
､
אֱלֹהִ֣ים ’ĕ·lō·hîm God [is] GRAM DICO
עִמְּךָ֔ ‘im·mə·ḵā, with you GRAM DICO
בְּכֹ֥ל bə·ḵōl in all GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- that GRAM DICO
אַתָּ֖ה ’at·tāh you GRAM DICO
עֹשֶֽׂה׃ ‘ō·śeh. do GRAM DICO

וְעַתָּ֗ה wə·‘at·tāh, Now therefore GRAM DICO
הִשָּׁ֨בְעָה hiš·šā·ḇə·‘āh swear GRAM DICO
לִּ֤י lî to me GRAM
בֵֽאלֹהִים֙ ḇê·lō·hîm before God GRAM DICO
הֵ֔נָּה hên·nāh, here GRAM DICO
､
אִם־ ’im- that GRAM DICO
תִּשְׁקֹ֣ר tiš·qōr you will not deal falsely GRAM DICO
לִ֔י lî, with me GRAM
וּלְנִינִ֖י ū·lə·nî·nî or with my offspring GRAM DICO
､
וּלְנֶכְדִּ֑י ū·lə·neḵ·dî; or with my posterity GRAM DICO
､
כַּחֶ֜סֶד ka·ḥe·seḏ but that according to the kindness GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- that GRAM DICO
עָשִׂ֤יתִי ‘ā·śî·ṯî I have done GRAM DICO
עִמְּךָ֙ ‘im·mə·ḵā to you GRAM DICO
､
תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה ta·‘ă·śeh you will do GRAM DICO
עִמָּדִ֔י ‘im·mā·ḏî, to me GRAM DICO
､
וְעִם־ wə·‘im- and to GRAM DICO
הָאָ֖רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ the land GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- that GRAM DICO
גַּ֥רְתָּה gar·tāh you have sojourned GRAM DICO
בָּֽהּ׃ bāh. in GRAM

בְּאֵ֣ר bə·’êr of a well GRAM DICO
הַמַּ֔יִם ham·ma·yim, of water GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO
גָּזְל֖וּ gā·zə·lū had seized GRAM DICO
עַבְדֵ֥י ‘aḇ·ḏê the servants GRAM DICO
אֲבִימֶֽלֶךְ׃ ’ă·ḇî·me·leḵ. of Abimelech GRAM DICO

לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO
יָדַ֔עְתִּי yā·ḏa‘·tî, I do know GRAM DICO
מִ֥י mî who GRAM DICO
עָשָׂ֖ה ‘ā·śāh has done GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַדָּבָ֣ר had·dā·ḇār the thing GRAM DICO
הַזֶּ֑ה haz·zeh; this GRAM DICO

וְגַם־ wə·ḡam- and GRAM DICO
אַתָּ֞ה ’at·tāh you GRAM DICO
לֹא־ lō- not GRAM DICO
הִגַּ֣דְתָּ hig·gaḏ·tā did tell GRAM DICO
לִּ֗י lî, me GRAM
､
וְגַ֧ם wə·ḡam and GRAM DICO
אָנֹכִ֛י ’ā·nō·ḵî I GRAM DICO
לֹ֥א lō not GRAM DICO
שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי šā·ma‘·tî had heard [of it] GRAM DICO
בִּלְתִּ֥י bil·tî until GRAM DICO
הַיּֽוֹם׃ hay·yō·wm. today GRAM DICO

וַיִּקַּ֤ח way·yiq·qaḥ So took GRAM DICO

צֹ֣אן ṣōn sheep GRAM DICO
וּבָקָ֔ר ū·ḇā·qār, and oxen GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּתֵּ֖ן way·yit·tên and gave them GRAM DICO
לַאֲבִימֶ֑לֶךְ la·’ă·ḇî·me·leḵ; to Abimelech GRAM DICO
–
וַיִּכְרְת֥וּ way·yiḵ·rə·ṯū and made GRAM DICO
שְׁנֵיהֶ֖ם šə·nê·hem the two of them GRAM DICO
בְּרִֽית׃ bə·rîṯ. a covenant GRAM DICO

לְבַדְּהֶֽן׃ lə·ḇad·də·hen. by themselves GRAM DICO

כְּבָשֹׂת֙ kə·ḇā·śōṯ ewe lambs GRAM DICO
､
הָאֵ֔לֶּה hā·’êl·leh, these GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
הִצַּ֖בְתָּ hiṣ·ṣaḇ·tā you have set GRAM DICO
לְבַדָּֽנָה׃ lə·ḇad·dā·nāh. by themselves GRAM DICO
