וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע way·yiš·ma‘ that had obeyed GRAM DICO

יַעֲקֹ֔ב ya·‘ă·qōḇ, Jacob GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- - GRAM DICO

אָבִ֖יו ’ā·ḇîw his father GRAM DICO

וְאֶל־ wə·’el- and GRAM DICO

אִמּ֑וֹ ’im·mōw; his mother GRAM DICO

､

וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ way·yê·leḵ and had gone GRAM DICO

פַּדֶּ֥נָֽה pad·de·nāh -

אֲרָֽם׃ ’ă·rām. to Padan Aram GRAM DICO

Genèse 28, 8

וַיַּ֣רְא way·yar And saw GRAM DICO

רָע֖וֹת rā·‘ō·wṯ [were] displeasing GRAM DICO

בְּנ֣וֹת bə·nō·wṯ the daughters GRAM DICO

כְּנָ֑עַן kə·nā·‘an; of Canaan GRAM DICO

בְּעֵינֵ֖י bə·‘ê·nê in the eye GRAM DICO

יִצְחָ֥ק yiṣ·ḥāq of Isaac GRAM DICO

שָׁ֑בַע šā·ḇa‘; Beersheba GRAM DICO

חָרָֽנָה׃ ḥā·rā·nāh. toward Haran GRAM DICO

וַיִּפְגַּ֨ע way·yip̄·ga‘ So he came GRAM DICO

בַּמָּק֜וֹם bam·mā·qō·wm to a certain place GRAM DICO

､

וַיָּ֤לֶן way·yā·len and stayed all night GRAM DICO

שָׁם֙ šām there GRAM DICO

בָ֣א ḇā had set GRAM DICO

הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ haš·še·meš, the sun GRAM DICO

וַיִּקַּח֙ way·yiq·qaḥ and he took GRAM DICO

מֵאַבְנֵ֣י mê·’aḇ·nê one of the stones GRAM DICO

הַמָּק֔וֹם ham·mā·qō·wm, of the place GRAM DICO

､

וַיָּ֖שֶׂם way·yā·śem and put it at GRAM DICO

מְרַֽאֲשֹׁתָ֑יו mə·ra·’ă·šō·ṯāw; his head GRAM DICO

､

וַיִּשְׁכַּ֖ב way·yiš·kaḇ and he lay down to sleep GRAM DICO

בַּמָּק֥וֹם bam·mā·qō·wm in place GRAM DICO

הַהֽוּא׃ ha·hū. that GRAM DICO

Genèse 28, 12

וַֽיַּחֲלֹ֗ם way·ya·ḥă·lōm, And he dreamed GRAM DICO

､

וְהִנֵּ֤ה wə·hin·nêh and behold GRAM DICO

סֻלָּם֙ sul·lām a ladder GRAM DICO

מֻצָּ֣ב muṣ·ṣāḇ [was] set up GRAM DICO

אַ֔רְצָה ’ar·ṣāh, on the earth GRAM DICO

､

וְרֹאשׁ֖וֹ wə·rō·šōw and its top GRAM DICO

מַגִּ֣יעַ mag·gî·a‘ reached GRAM DICO

הַשָּׁמָ֑יְמָה haš·šā·mā·yə·māh; to heaven GRAM DICO

וְהִנֵּה֙ wə·hin·nêh and there GRAM DICO

מַלְאֲכֵ֣י mal·’ă·ḵê the angels GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהִ֔ים ’ĕ·lō·hîm, of God GRAM DICO

עֹלִ֥ים ‘ō·lîm were ascending GRAM DICO

וְיֹרְדִ֖ים wə·yō·rə·ḏîm and descending GRAM DICO

בּֽוֹ׃ bōw. on it GRAM

וְהִנֵּ֨ה wə·hin·nêh And behold GRAM DICO

､

יְהוָ֜ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

נִצָּ֣ב niṣ·ṣāḇ stood GRAM DICO

עָלָיו֮ ‘ā·lāw above it GRAM DICO

וַיֹּאמַר֒ way·yō·mar and said GRAM DICO

､

אֲנִ֣י ’ă·nî I [am] GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֗ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵי֙ ’ĕ·lō·hê God GRAM DICO

אַבְרָהָ֣ם ’aḇ·rā·hām of Abraham GRAM DICO

אָבִ֔יךָ ’ā·ḇî·ḵā, your father GRAM DICO

הָאָ֗רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ, the land GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֤ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO

אַתָּה֙ ’at·tāh you GRAM DICO

שֹׁכֵ֣ב šō·ḵêḇ lie GRAM DICO

עָלֶ֔יהָ ‘ā·le·hā, upon GRAM DICO

לְךָ֥ lə·ḵā to you GRAM

אֶתְּנֶ֖נָּה ’et·tə·nen·nāh I will give GRAM DICO

וּלְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃ ū·lə·zar·‘e·ḵā. and to your descendants GRAM DICO

וְהָיָ֤ה wə·hā·yāh And shall be GRAM DICO

זַרְעֲךָ֙ zar·‘ă·ḵā your descendants GRAM DICO

כַּעֲפַ֣ר ka·‘ă·p̄ar like the dust GRAM DICO

הָאָ֔רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ, of the earth GRAM DICO

､

וּפָרַצְתָּ֛ ū·p̄ā·raṣ·tā and you shall spread abroad GRAM DICO

יָ֥מָּה yām·māh to the west GRAM DICO

､

וָקֵ֖דְמָה wā·qê·ḏə·māh and the east GRAM DICO

､

וְצָפֹ֣נָה wə·ṣā·p̄ō·nāh and the north GRAM DICO

､

וָנֶ֑גְבָּה wā·neḡ·bāh; and the south GRAM DICO

וְנִבְרֲכ֥וּ wə·niḇ·ră·ḵū And shall be blessed GRAM DICO

בְךָ֛ ḇə·ḵā in you GRAM

כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO

מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת miš·pə·ḥōṯ the families GRAM DICO

הָאֲדָמָ֖ה hā·’ă·ḏā·māh of the earth GRAM DICO

וּבְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃ ū·ḇə·zar·‘e·ḵā. and in your seed GRAM DICO

Genèse 28, 15

וְהִנֵּ֨ה wə·hin·nêh And behold GRAM DICO

､

אָנֹכִ֜י ’ā·nō·ḵî I [am] GRAM DICO

עִמָּ֗ךְ ‘im·māḵ, with you GRAM DICO

וּשְׁמַרְתִּ֙יךָ֙ ū·šə·mar·tî·ḵā and will keep you GRAM DICO

בְּכֹ֣ל bə·ḵōl in all GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- wherever GRAM DICO

תֵּלֵ֔ךְ tê·lêḵ, you go GRAM DICO

､

וַהֲשִׁ֣בֹתִ֔יךָ wa·hă·ši·ḇō·ṯî·ḵā, and I will bring you back GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

הָאֲדָמָ֖ה hā·’ă·ḏā·māh land GRAM DICO

הַזֹּ֑את haz·zōṯ; this GRAM DICO

כִּ֚י kî for GRAM DICO

לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO

אֶֽעֱזָבְךָ֔ ’e·‘ĕ·zā·ḇə·ḵā, I will leave you GRAM DICO

אִם־ ’im- - GRAM DICO
