II Chroniques 14, 2
וַיַּ֤עַשׂ way·ya·‘aś And did [what was] GRAM DICO
אָסָא֙ ’ā·sā Asa GRAM DICO
הַטּ֣וֹב haṭ·ṭō·wḇ good GRAM DICO
וְהַיָּשָׁ֔ר wə·hay·yā·šār, and right GRAM DICO
בְּעֵינֵ֖י bə·‘ê·nê in the eyes GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֥ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהָֽיו׃ ’ĕ·lō·hāw. his God GRAM DICO

וַיָּ֛סַר way·yā·sar for he removed GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
מִזְבְּח֥וֹת miz·bə·ḥō·wṯ the altars GRAM DICO
הַנֵּכָ֖ר han·nê·ḵār of the foreign [gods] GRAM DICO
וְהַבָּמ֑וֹת wə·hab·bā·mō·wṯ; and the high places GRAM DICO
､
וַיְשַׁבֵּר֙ way·šab·bêr and broke down GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַמַּצֵּב֔וֹת ham·maṣ·ṣê·ḇō·wṯ, the [sacred] pillars GRAM DICO
､
וַיְגַדַּ֖ע way·ḡad·da‘ and cut down GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הָאֲשֵׁרִֽים׃ hā·’ă·šê·rîm. the wooden images GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ way·yō·mer and He commanded GRAM DICO
לִֽיהוּדָ֔ה lî·hū·ḏāh, Judah GRAM DICO
לִדְר֕וֹשׁ liḏ·rō·wōš to seek GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֣י ’ĕ·lō·hê God GRAM DICO
אֲבוֹתֵיהֶ֑ם ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·hem; of their fathers GRAM DICO
､
וְלַעֲשׂ֖וֹת wə·la·‘ă·śō·wṯ and to observe GRAM DICO
הַתּוֹרָ֥ה hat·tō·w·rāh the law GRAM DICO
וְהַמִּצְוָֽה׃ wə·ham·miṣ·wāh. and the commandment GRAM DICO

מִכָּל־ mik·kāl from all GRAM DICO
עָרֵ֣י ‘ā·rê the cities GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֔ה yə·hū·ḏāh, of Judah GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַבָּמ֖וֹת hab·bā·mō·wṯ the high places GRAM DICO
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
הַֽחַמָּנִ֑ים ha·ḥam·mā·nîm; the incense altars GRAM DICO
–
וַתִּשְׁקֹ֥ט wat·tiš·qōṭ and was quiet GRAM DICO
הַמַּמְלָכָ֖ה ham·mam·lā·ḵāh the kingdom GRAM DICO
לְפָנָֽיו׃ lə·p̄ā·nāw. under him GRAM DICO

וַיִּ֛בֶן way·yi·ḇen And he built GRAM DICO
עָרֵ֥י ‘ā·rê cities GRAM DICO
מְצוּרָ֖ה mə·ṣū·rāh fortified GRAM DICO
בִּיהוּדָ֑ה bî·hū·ḏāh; in Judah GRAM DICO
､
כִּֽי־ kî- for GRAM DICO
שָׁקְטָ֣ה šā·qə·ṭāh had rest GRAM DICO
､
הָאָ֗רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ, the land GRAM DICO
וְאֵין־ wə·’ên- and had no GRAM DICO
עִמּ֤וֹ ‘im·mōw he GRAM DICO
מִלְחָמָה֙ mil·ḥā·māh war GRAM DICO
בַּשָּׁנִ֣ים baš·šā·nîm in years GRAM DICO
–
הָאֵ֔לֶּה hā·’êl·leh, these GRAM DICO
כִּֽי־ kî- because GRAM DICO
הֵנִ֥יחַ hê·nî·aḥ had given rest GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
לֽוֹ׃ lōw. him GRAM

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר way·yō·mer Therefore he said GRAM DICO
לִֽיהוּדָ֜ה lî·hū·ḏāh to Judah GRAM DICO
､
נִבְנֶ֣ה ׀ niḇ·neh let us build GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הֶעָרִ֣ים he·‘ā·rîm cities GRAM DICO
､
הָאֵ֗לֶּה hā·’êl·leh, these GRAM DICO
וְנָסֵ֨ב wə·nā·sêḇ and make around [them] GRAM DICO
חוֹמָ֣ה ḥō·w·māh walls GRAM DICO
､
וּמִגְדָּלִים֮ ū·miḡ·dā·lîm and towers GRAM DICO
､
דְּלָתַ֣יִם də·lā·ṯa·yim gates GRAM DICO
､
וּבְרִיחִים֒ ū·ḇə·rî·ḥîm and bars GRAM DICO
､
עוֹדֶ֨נּוּ ‘ō·w·ḏen·nū [while is] yet GRAM DICO
הָאָ֜רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ the land GRAM DICO
לְפָנֵ֗ינוּ lə·p̄ā·nê·nū, before us GRAM DICO
כִּ֤י kî because GRAM DICO
דָרַ֙שְׁנוּ֙ ḏā·raš·nū we have sought GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֣ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū, our God GRAM DICO
､
דָּרַ֕שְׁנוּ dā·raš·nū we have sought [Him] GRAM DICO
וַיָּ֥נַֽח way·yā·naḥ and He has given us rest GRAM DICO
לָ֖נוּ lā·nū on GRAM
מִסָּבִ֑יב mis·sā·ḇîḇ; every side GRAM DICO

וַיִּבְנ֖וּ way·yiḇ·nū So they built GRAM DICO
וַיַּצְלִֽיחוּ׃ way·yaṣ·lî·ḥū. and prospered GRAM DICO

נֹשֵׂ֣א nō·śê of who carried GRAM DICO
צִנָּ֣ה ṣin·nāh shields GRAM DICO
וָרֹמַח֒ wā·rō·maḥ and spears GRAM DICO
､
מִֽיהוּדָה֙ mî·hū·ḏāh from Judah GRAM DICO
שְׁלֹ֣שׁ šə·lōš three GRAM DICO
מֵא֣וֹת mê·’ō·wṯ hundred GRAM DICO
אֶ֔לֶף ’e·lep̄, thousand GRAM DICO

וּמִבִּנְיָמִ֗ן ū·mib·bin·yā·min, and from Benjamin GRAM DICO
נֹשְׂאֵ֤י nō·śə·’ê men who carried GRAM DICO
מָגֵן֙ mā·ḡên shields GRAM DICO
וְדֹ֣רְכֵי wə·ḏō·rə·ḵê and drew GRAM DICO
קֶ֔שֶׁת qe·šeṯ, bows GRAM DICO
､
מָאתַ֥יִם mā·ṯa·yim two hundred GRAM DICO
וּשְׁמוֹנִ֖ים ū·šə·mō·w·nîm and eighty GRAM DICO
אָ֑לֶף ’ā·lep̄; thousand GRAM DICO
–
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
אֵ֖לֶּה ’êl·leh these [were] GRAM DICO
גִּבּ֥וֹרֵי gib·bō·w·rê mighty men GRAM DICO
חָֽיִל׃ ḥā·yil. of valor GRAM DICO

וַיֵּצֵ֨א way·yê·ṣê And came out GRAM DICO
אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם ’ă·lê·hem against them GRAM DICO
זֶ֣רַח ze·raḥ Zerah GRAM DICO
הַכּוּשִׁ֗י hak·kū·šî, the Ethiopian GRAM DICO
בְּחַ֙יִל֙ bə·ḥa·yil with an army GRAM DICO
אֶ֣לֶף ’e·lep̄ of a thousand GRAM DICO
אֲלָפִ֔ים ’ă·lā·p̄îm, thousand GRAM DICO
､
וּמַרְכָּב֖וֹת ū·mar·kā·ḇō·wṯ and chariots GRAM DICO
–
שְׁלֹ֣שׁ šə·lōš three GRAM DICO
מֵא֑וֹת mê·’ō·wṯ; hundred GRAM DICO
וַיָּבֹ֖א way·yā·ḇō and he came GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- to GRAM DICO
מָרֵשָֽׁה׃ mā·rê·šāh. Mareshah GRAM DICO
