וַיַּעֲמֹ֣ד way·ya·‘ă·mōḏ And stood GRAM DICO
יְהוֹשָׁפָ֗ט yə·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ, Jehoshaphat GRAM DICO
בִּקְהַ֧ל biq·hal in the assembly GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֛ה yə·hū·ḏāh of Judah GRAM DICO
וִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם wî·rū·šā·lim and Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
בְּבֵ֣ית bə·ḇêṯ in the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
לִפְנֵ֖י lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO
הֶחָצֵ֥ר he·ḥā·ṣêr the court GRAM DICO
､
הַחֲדָשָֽׁה׃ ha·ḥă·ḏā·šāh. new GRAM DICO

וַיֹּאמַ֗ר way·yō·mar, And said GRAM DICO
､
יְהוָ֞ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֤י ’ĕ·lō·hê God GRAM DICO
אֲבֹתֵ֙ינוּ֙ ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū of our fathers GRAM DICO
､
הֲלֹ֨א hă·lō not GRAM DICO
אַתָּֽה־ ’at·tāh- You GRAM DICO
ה֤וּא hū are GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהִים֙ ’ĕ·lō·hîm God GRAM DICO
בַּשָּׁמַ֔יִם baš·šā·ma·yim, in heaven GRAM DICO
؟
וְאַתָּ֣ה wə·’at·tāh and You GRAM DICO
מוֹשֵׁ֔ל mō·wō·šêl, do [not] rule GRAM DICO
בְּכֹ֖ל bə·ḵōl over all GRAM DICO
מַמְלְכ֣וֹת mam·lə·ḵō·wṯ the kingdoms GRAM DICO
הַגּוֹיִ֑ם hag·gō·w·yim; of the nations GRAM DICO
؟
וּבְיָדְךָ֙ ū·ḇə·yā·ḏə·ḵā and in Your hand GRAM DICO
כֹּ֣חַ kō·aḥ [is there not] power GRAM DICO
וּגְבוּרָ֔ה ū·ḡə·ḇū·rāh, and might GRAM DICO
､
וְאֵ֥ין wə·’ên so that no one is able GRAM DICO
עִמְּךָ֖ ‘im·mə·ḵā You GRAM DICO
לְהִתְיַצֵּֽב׃ lə·hiṯ·yaṣ·ṣêḇ. to withstand GRAM DICO

הֲלֹ֣א ׀ hă·lō [Are] not GRAM DICO
אַתָּ֣ה ’at·tāh You GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū, our God GRAM DICO

הוֹרַ֙שְׁתָּ֙ hō·w·raš·tā [who] drove out GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
יֹשְׁבֵי֙ yō·šə·ḇê the inhabitants GRAM DICO
הָאָ֣רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ of land GRAM DICO
הַזֹּ֔את haz·zōṯ, this GRAM DICO
מִלִּפְנֵ֖י mil·lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO
עַמְּךָ֣ ‘am·mə·ḵā Your people GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; Israel GRAM DICO
､
וַֽתִּתְּנָ֗הּ wat·tit·tə·nāh, and gave it GRAM DICO
לְזֶ֛רַע lə·ze·ra‘ to the descendants GRAM DICO
אַבְרָהָ֥ם ’aḇ·rā·hām of Abraham GRAM DICO
אֹֽהַבְךָ֖ ’ō·haḇ·ḵā Your friend GRAM DICO
לְעוֹלָֽם׃ lə·‘ō·w·lām. forever GRAM DICO

וַיֵּשְׁב֖וּ־ way·yê·šə·ḇū- and they dwell GRAM DICO
בָ֑הּ ḇāh; in it GRAM
וַיִּבְנ֨וּ way·yiḇ·nū and have built GRAM DICO
לְךָ֧ ׀ lə·ḵā You GRAM
בָּ֛הּ bāh in it GRAM
מִקְדָּ֖שׁ miq·dāš a sanctuary GRAM DICO
לְשִׁמְךָ֥ lə·šim·ḵā for Your name GRAM DICO

לֵאמֹֽר׃ lê·mōr. saying GRAM DICO

אִם־ ’im- if GRAM DICO
､
תָּב֨וֹא tā·ḇō·w comes GRAM DICO
עָלֵ֜ינוּ ‘ā·lê·nū upon us GRAM DICO
רָעָ֗ה rā·‘āh, disaster GRAM DICO
חֶרֶב֮ ḥe·reḇ sword GRAM DICO
､
שְׁפוֹט֮ šə·p̄ō·wṭ judgment GRAM DICO
､
וְדֶ֣בֶר wə·ḏe·ḇer and pestilence GRAM DICO
､
וְרָעָב֒ wə·rā·‘āḇ or famine GRAM DICO
､
נַֽעַמְדָ֞ה na·‘am·ḏāh we will stand GRAM DICO
לִפְנֵ֨י lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO
הַבַּ֤יִת hab·ba·yiṯ temple GRAM DICO
､
הַזֶּה֙ haz·zeh this GRAM DICO
וּלְפָנֶ֔יךָ ū·lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā, and in Your presence GRAM DICO
､
כִּ֥י kî for GRAM DICO
שִׁמְךָ֖ šim·ḵā Your name [is] GRAM DICO
בַּבַּ֣יִת bab·ba·yiṯ in temple GRAM DICO
הַזֶּ֑ה haz·zeh; this GRAM DICO
וְנִזְעַ֥ק wə·niz·‘aq and cry out GRAM DICO
אֵלֶ֛יךָ ’ê·le·ḵā to You GRAM DICO
מִצָּרָתֵ֖נוּ miṣ·ṣā·rā·ṯê·nū in our affliction GRAM DICO
､
וְתִשְׁמַ֥ע wə·ṯiš·ma‘ and You will hear GRAM DICO
וְתוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃ wə·ṯō·wō·šî·a‘. and save GRAM DICO

וְעַתָּ֡ה wə·‘at·tāh Now GRAM DICO

הִנֵּה֩ hin·nêh here are GRAM DICO
､
בְנֵֽי־ ḇə·nê- the sons GRAM DICO
עַמּ֨וֹן ‘am·mō·wn of Ammon GRAM DICO
וּמוֹאָ֜ב ū·mō·w·’āḇ and Moab GRAM DICO
וְהַר־ wə·har- and Mount GRAM DICO
שֵׂעִ֗יר śê·‘îr, Seir GRAM DICO
､
אֲ֠שֶׁר ’ă·šer whom GRAM DICO
לֹֽא־ lō- not GRAM DICO
נָתַ֤תָּה nā·ṯat·tāh You would let GRAM DICO
לְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ lə·yiś·rā·’êl Israel GRAM DICO
לָב֣וֹא lā·ḇō·w invade GRAM DICO
､
בָהֶ֔ם ḇā·hem, in GRAM
בְּבֹאָ֖ם bə·ḇō·’ām when they came GRAM DICO
מֵאֶ֣רֶץ mê·’e·reṣ out of the land GRAM DICO
מִצְרָ֑יִם miṣ·rā·yim; of Egypt GRAM DICO
､
כִּ֛י kî but GRAM DICO
סָ֥רוּ sā·rū they turned GRAM DICO
מֵעֲלֵיהֶ֖ם mê·‘ă·lê·hem from them GRAM DICO
וְלֹ֥א wə·lō and not GRAM DICO
–
הִשְׁמִידֽוּם׃ hiš·mî·ḏūm. did destroy them GRAM DICO

וְהִ֨נֵּה־ wə·hin·nêh- And here are GRAM DICO
､
הֵ֔ם hêm, they GRAM DICO
גֹּמְלִ֖ים gō·mə·lîm rewarding GRAM DICO
עָלֵ֑ינוּ ‘ā·lê·nū; us GRAM DICO
לָבוֹא֙ lā·ḇō·w by coming GRAM DICO
לְגָ֣רְשֵׁ֔נוּ lə·ḡā·rə·šê·nū, to throw us out GRAM DICO
מִיְּרֻשָּׁתְךָ֖ mî·yə·ruš·šā·ṯə·ḵā of Your possession GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
הֽוֹרַשְׁתָּֽנוּ׃ hō·w·raš·tā·nū. You have given us to inherit GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū Our God GRAM DICO

הֲלֹ֣א hă·lō will not GRAM DICO
תִשְׁפָּט־ ṯiš·pāṭ- You judge GRAM DICO
בָּ֔ם bām, them GRAM
כִּ֣י kî for GRAM DICO
אֵ֥ין ’ên have no GRAM DICO
בָּ֙נוּ֙ bā·nū we GRAM
כֹּ֔חַ kō·aḥ, power GRAM DICO
לִ֠פְנֵי lip̄·nê against GRAM DICO
הֶהָמ֥וֹן he·hā·mō·wn multitude GRAM DICO
הָרָ֛ב hā·rāḇ great GRAM DICO
הַזֶּ֖ה haz·zeh this GRAM DICO
הַבָּ֣א hab·bā that is coming GRAM DICO
עָלֵ֑ינוּ ‘ā·lê·nū; against us GRAM DICO
וַאֲנַ֗חְנוּ wa·’ă·naḥ·nū, and we GRAM DICO
לֹ֤א lō nor GRAM DICO
נֵדַע֙ nê·ḏa‘ do know GRAM DICO
מַֽה־ mah- what GRAM DICO
נַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה na·‘ă·śeh, to do GRAM DICO
､
כִּ֥י kî but GRAM DICO
עָלֶ֖יךָ ‘ā·le·ḵā upon You GRAM DICO
עֵינֵֽינוּ׃ ‘ê·nê·nū. our eyes [are] GRAM DICO
.
suivant
