וַיְהִ֗י way·hî, And it was so GRAM DICO

וְשָׁלֹ֛שׁ wə·šā·lōš and three GRAM DICO
שָׁנָ֖ה šā·nāh year GRAM DICO
לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ lam·me·leḵ of King GRAM DICO
יְהוֹאָ֑שׁ yə·hō·w·’āš; Jehoash GRAM DICO
לֹֽא־ lō- not GRAM DICO
חִזְּק֥וּ ḥiz·zə·qū [that] had repaired GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים hak·kō·hă·nîm the priests GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בֶּ֥דֶק be·ḏeq the damages GRAM DICO
הַבָּֽיִת׃ hab·bā·yiṯ. of the temple GRAM DICO

וַיִּקְרָא֩ way·yiq·rā So called GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ King GRAM DICO
יְהוֹאָ֜שׁ yə·hō·w·’āš Jehoash GRAM DICO
לִיהוֹיָדָ֤ע lî·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ Jehoiada GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֵן֙ hak·kō·hên the priest GRAM DICO
､
וְלַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים wə·lak·kō·hă·nîm, and the [other] priests GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO
אֲלֵהֶ֔ם ’ă·lê·hem, to them GRAM DICO
מַדּ֛וּעַ mad·dū·a‘ why GRAM DICO
אֵינְכֶ֥ם ’ê·nə·ḵem have you not GRAM DICO
מְחַזְּקִ֖ים mə·ḥaz·zə·qîm repaired GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בֶּ֣דֶק be·ḏeq the damages GRAM DICO
הַבָּ֑יִת hab·bā·yiṯ; of the temple GRAM DICO
؟
וְעַתָּ֗ה wə·‘at·tāh, now therefore GRAM DICO
אַל־ ’al- not GRAM DICO
תִּקְחוּ־ tiq·ḥū- do take GRAM DICO
כֶ֙סֶף֙ ḵe·sep̄ [more] money GRAM DICO
מֵאֵ֣ת mê·’êṯ from GRAM DICO
מַכָּֽרֵיכֶ֔ם mak·kā·rê·ḵem, your constituency GRAM DICO
､
כִּֽי־ kî- but GRAM DICO
לְבֶ֥דֶק lə·ḇe·ḏeq for [repairing] the damages GRAM DICO
הַבַּ֖יִת hab·ba·yiṯ of the temple GRAM DICO
תִּתְּנֻֽהוּ׃ tit·tə·nu·hū. deliver it GRAM DICO

וַיֵּאֹ֖תוּ way·yê·’ō·ṯū And agreed GRAM DICO
הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֑ים hak·kō·hă·nîm; the priests GRAM DICO
לְבִלְתִּ֤י lə·ḇil·tî neither GRAM DICO
קְחַת־ qə·ḥaṯ- that they would receive GRAM DICO
כֶּ֙סֶף֙ ke·sep̄ [more] money GRAM DICO
מֵאֵ֣ת mê·’êṯ from GRAM DICO
הָעָ֔ם hā·‘ām, the people GRAM DICO
､
וּלְבִלְתִּ֥י ū·lə·ḇil·tî nor GRAM DICO
חַזֵּ֖ק ḥaz·zêq repair GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בֶּ֥דֶק be·ḏeq the damages GRAM DICO
הַבָּֽיִת׃ hab·bā·yiṯ. of the temple GRAM DICO

וַיִּקַּ֞ח way·yiq·qaḥ And took GRAM DICO
יְהוֹיָדָ֤ע yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ Jehoiada GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֵן֙ hak·kō·hên the priest GRAM DICO
אֲר֣וֹן ’ă·rō·wn chest GRAM DICO
､
אֶחָ֔ד ’e·ḥāḏ, a GRAM DICO
וַיִּקֹּ֥ב way·yiq·qōḇ and bored GRAM DICO
חֹ֖ר ḥōr a hole GRAM DICO
בְּדַלְתּ֑וֹ bə·ḏal·tōw; in its lid GRAM DICO
וַיִּתֵּ֣ן way·yit·tên and set GRAM DICO
אֹתוֹ֩ ’ō·ṯōw it GRAM DICO
אֵ֨צֶל ’ê·ṣel beside GRAM DICO
הַמִּזְבֵּ֜חַ ham·miz·bê·aḥ the altar GRAM DICO
､
[בימין] bay·yā·mîn  -  GRAM
(מִיָּמִ֗ין) mî·yā·mîn, on the right side GRAM DICO
בְּבֽוֹא־ bə·ḇō·w- as comes GRAM DICO
אִישׁ֙ ’îš one GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ית bêṯ into the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, of Yahweh GRAM DICO
–
וְנָֽתְנוּ־ wə·nā·ṯə·nū- and put GRAM DICO
שָׁ֤מָּה šām·māh there GRAM DICO
הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ hak·kō·hă·nîm the priests GRAM DICO
שֹׁמְרֵ֣י šō·mə·rê who kept GRAM DICO
הַסַּ֔ף has·sap̄, the door GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
הַכֶּ֖סֶף hak·ke·sep̄ the money GRAM DICO
הַמּוּבָ֥א ham·mū·ḇā brought GRAM DICO
בֵית־ ḇêṯ- into the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וַֽיְהִי֙ way·hî So it was GRAM DICO
כִּרְאוֹתָ֔ם kir·’ō·w·ṯām, whenever they saw GRAM DICO
כִּֽי־ kî- that GRAM DICO
רַ֥ב raḇ [there was] much GRAM DICO
הַכֶּ֖סֶף hak·ke·sep̄ money GRAM DICO
בָּֽאָר֑וֹן bā·’ā·rō·wn; in the chest GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּ֨עַל way·ya·‘al that came up GRAM DICO
､
סֹפֵ֤ר sō·p̄êr scribe GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ ham·me·leḵ of the king GRAM DICO
וְהַכֹּהֵ֣ן wə·hak·kō·hên and the priest GRAM DICO
הַגָּד֔וֹל hag·gā·ḏō·wl, high GRAM DICO
וַיָּצֻ֙רוּ֙ way·yā·ṣu·rū and put it in bags GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּמְנ֔וּ way·yim·nū, and counted GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַכֶּ֖סֶף hak·ke·sep̄ the money GRAM DICO
הַנִּמְצָ֥א han·nim·ṣā that was found GRAM DICO
בֵית־ ḇêṯ- in the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וְנָתְנוּ֙ wə·nā·ṯə·nū And they gave GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַכֶּ֣סֶף hak·ke·sep̄ the money GRAM DICO
､
הַֽמְתֻכָּ֔ן ham·ṯuk·kān, which had been apportioned GRAM DICO
､
עַל־ ‘al- into GRAM DICO
[יד] yaḏ  -  GRAM
(יְדֵי֙) yə·ḏê the hands of GRAM DICO
עֹשֵׂ֣י ‘ō·śê those who did GRAM DICO
הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה ham·mə·lā·ḵāh, the work GRAM DICO
､
[הפקדים] hap·pə·qu·ḏîm  -  GRAM
(הַמֻּפְקָדִ֖ים) ham·mup̄·qā·ḏîm the who had oversight of GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ית bêṯ the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; of Yahweh GRAM DICO
–
וַיּוֹצִיאֻ֜הוּ way·yō·w·ṣî·’u·hū and they paid it out GRAM DICO
לְחָרָשֵׁ֤י lə·ḥā·rā·šê to GRAM DICO
הָעֵץ֙ hā·‘êṣ the carpenters GRAM DICO
וְלַבֹּנִ֔ים wə·lab·bō·nîm, and builders GRAM DICO
､
הָעֹשִׂ֖ים hā·‘ō·śîm who worked on GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO
