וַיָּשָׁב֩ way·yā·šāḇ And went back GRAM DICO
יוֹרָ֨ם yō·w·rām Jehoram GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ King GRAM DICO
לְהִתְרַפֵּ֣א lə·hiṯ·rap·pê to recover GRAM DICO
בְיִזְרְעֶ֗אל ḇə·yiz·rə·‘el, to Jezreel GRAM DICO
מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO
הַמַּכִּים֙ ham·mak·kîm the wounds GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
יַכֻּ֤הוּ yak·ku·hū had inflicted on him GRAM DICO
אֲרַמִּים֙ ’ă·ram·mîm the Syrians GRAM DICO
בָּֽרָמָ֔ה bā·rā·māh, at Ramah GRAM DICO
､
בְּהִלָּ֣חֲמ֔וֹ bə·hil·lā·ḥă·mōw, when he fought GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ- against GRAM DICO
חֲזָהאֵ֖ל ḥă·zā·h·’êl Hazael GRAM DICO
מֶ֣לֶךְ me·leḵ king GRAM DICO
אֲרָ֑ם ’ă·rām; of Syria GRAM DICO

וַאֲחַזְיָ֨הוּ wa·’ă·ḥaz·yā·hū And Ahaziah GRAM DICO
בֶן־ ḇen- son GRAM DICO
יְהוֹרָ֜ם yə·hō·w·rām of Joram GRAM DICO
מֶ֣לֶךְ me·leḵ king GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֗ה yə·hū·ḏāh, of Judah GRAM DICO
יָרַ֡ד yā·raḏ went down GRAM DICO
לִרְא֞וֹת lir·’ō·wṯ to see GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
יוֹרָ֧ם yō·w·rām Jehoram GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
אַחְאָ֛ב ’aḥ·’āḇ of Ahab GRAM DICO
בְּיִזְרְעֶ֖אל bə·yiz·rə·‘el in Jezreel GRAM DICO
､
כִּֽי־ kî- because GRAM DICO
חֹלֶ֥ה ḥō·leh was sick GRAM DICO
הֽוּא׃ hū. he GRAM DICO

הַנָּבִ֔יא han·nā·ḇî, the prophet GRAM DICO
קָרָ֕א qā·rā called GRAM DICO
לְאַחַ֖ד lə·’a·ḥaḏ one GRAM DICO
מִבְּנֵ֣י mib·bə·nê of the sons GRAM DICO
הַנְּבִיאִ֑ים han·nə·ḇî·’îm; of the prophets GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO
ל֜וֹ lōw to him GRAM
חֲגֹ֣ר ḥă·ḡōr Get ready GRAM DICO
מָתְנֶ֗יךָ mā·ṯə·ne·ḵā, yourself GRAM DICO
､
וְ֠קַח wə·qaḥ and take GRAM DICO
פַּ֣ךְ paḵ flask GRAM DICO
הַשֶּׁ֤מֶן haš·še·men of oil GRAM DICO
הַזֶּה֙ haz·zeh this GRAM DICO
בְּיָדֶ֔ךָ bə·yā·ḏe·ḵā, in your hand GRAM DICO
､
וְלֵ֖ךְ wə·lêḵ and go GRAM DICO
רָמֹ֥ת rā·mōṯ to Ramoth Gilead GRAM DICO
גִּלְעָֽד׃ gil·‘āḏ. Gilead GRAM DICO

וּבָ֖אתָ ū·ḇā·ṯā And when you arrive GRAM DICO
שָׁ֑מָּה šām·māh; at that place GRAM DICO
､
וּרְאֵֽה־ ū·rə·’ê·hō·šā- and look for GRAM DICO
שָׁ֠ם m there GRAM DICO
יֵה֨וּא yê·hū Jehu GRAM DICO
בֶן־ ḇen- son GRAM DICO
יְהוֹשָׁפָ֜ט yə·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ of Jehoshaphat GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- the son GRAM DICO
נִמְשִׁ֗י nim·šî, of Nimshi GRAM DICO
､
וּבָ֙אתָ֙ ū·ḇā·ṯā and go in GRAM DICO
､
וַהֲקֵֽמֹתוֹ֙ wa·hă·qê·mō·ṯōw and make him rise up GRAM DICO
מִתּ֣וֹך‪‬ mit·tō·wḵ from among GRAM DICO
אֶחָ֔יו ’e·ḥāw, his associates GRAM DICO
､
וְהֵבֵיאתָ֥ wə·hê·ḇê·ṯā and take GRAM DICO
אֹת֖וֹ ’ō·ṯōw him GRAM DICO
חֶ֥דֶר ḥe·ḏer to an inner GRAM DICO
בְּחָֽדֶר׃ bə·ḥā·ḏer. to an inner room GRAM DICO

וְלָקַחְתָּ֤ wə·lā·qaḥ·tā and take GRAM DICO
פַךְ־ p̄aḵ- the flask GRAM DICO
הַשֶּׁ֙מֶן֙ haš·še·men of oil GRAM DICO
､
וְיָצַקְתָּ֣ wə·yā·ṣaq·tā and pour [it] GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
רֹאשׁ֔וֹ rō·šōw, his head GRAM DICO
､
וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ wə·’ā·mar·tā and say GRAM DICO
､
כֹּֽה־ kōh- thus GRAM DICO
אָמַ֣ר ’ā·mar says GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
מְשַׁחְתִּ֥יךָֽ mə·šaḥ·tî·ḵā I have anointed you GRAM DICO
לְמֶ֖לֶךְ lə·me·leḵ king GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- over GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; Israel GRAM DICO
.
וּפָתַחְתָּ֥ ū·p̄ā·ṯaḥ·tā And open GRAM DICO
הַדֶּ֛לֶת had·de·leṯ the door GRAM DICO
､
וְנַ֖סְתָּה wə·nas·tāh and flee GRAM DICO
､
וְלֹ֥א wə·lō and not GRAM DICO
תְחַכֶּֽה׃ ṯə·ḥak·keh. do delay GRAM DICO

וַיֵּ֧לֶךְ way·yê·leḵ So went GRAM DICO
הַנַּ֛עַר han·na·‘ar the young man GRAM DICO
､
הַנַּ֥עַר han·na·‘ar the servant GRAM DICO
הַנָּבִ֖יא han·nā·ḇî of the prophet GRAM DICO
､
רָמֹ֥ת rā·mōṯ to Ramoth Gilead GRAM DICO
גִּלְעָֽד׃ gil·‘āḏ. Gilead GRAM DICO

וַיָּבֹ֗א way·yā·ḇō, And when he arrived GRAM DICO
､
וְהִנֵּ֨ה wə·hin·nêh and there [were] GRAM DICO
､
שָׂרֵ֤י śā·rê the captains GRAM DICO
הַחַ֙יִל֙ ha·ḥa·yil of the army GRAM DICO
יֹֽשְׁבִ֔ים yō·šə·ḇîm, sitting GRAM DICO
–
וַיֹּ֕אמֶר way·yō·mer and he said GRAM DICO
､
דָּבָ֥ר dā·ḇār have a message GRAM DICO
לִ֛י lî I GRAM
אֵלֶ֖יךָ ’ê·le·ḵā for you GRAM DICO
הַשָּׂ֑ר haś·śār; Commander GRAM DICO
.
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
､
יֵהוּא֙ yê·hū Jehu GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- for GRAM DICO
מִ֣י mî whom GRAM DICO
מִכֻּלָּ֔נוּ mik·kul·lā·nū, of us GRAM DICO
וַיֹּ֖אמֶר way·yō·mer and he said GRAM DICO
､
אֵלֶ֥יךָ ’ê·le·ḵā for you GRAM DICO
הַשָּֽׂר׃ haś·śār. Commander GRAM DICO

וַיָּ֙קָם֙ way·yā·qām And he arose GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּבֹ֣א way·yā·ḇō and went into GRAM DICO
הַבַּ֔יְתָה hab·bay·ṯāh, the house GRAM DICO
–
וַיִּצֹ֥ק way·yi·ṣōq and he poured GRAM DICO
הַשֶּׁ֖מֶן haš·še·men the oil GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- on GRAM DICO
רֹאשׁ֑וֹ rō·šōw; his head GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO
ל֗וֹ lōw, to him GRAM
כֹּֽה־ kōh- thus GRAM DICO
אָמַ֤ר ’ā·mar says GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֣י ’ĕ·lō·hê God GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, of Israel GRAM DICO
､
מְשַׁחְתִּ֧יךָֽ mə·šaḥ·tî·ḵā I have anointed you GRAM DICO
לְמֶ֛לֶךְ lə·me·leḵ king GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- over GRAM DICO
עַ֥ם ‘am the people GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
