וְהִ֨כִּיתָ֔ה wə·hik·kî·ṯāh, And You shall strike down GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ the house GRAM DICO
אַחְאָ֖ב ’aḥ·’āḇ of Ahab GRAM DICO
אֲדֹנֶ֑יךָ ’ă·ḏō·ne·ḵā; your master GRAM DICO
､
וְנִקַּמְתִּ֞י wə·niq·qam·tî that I may avenge GRAM DICO
דְּמֵ֣י ׀ də·mê the blood GRAM DICO
עֲבָדַ֣י ‘ă·ḇā·ḏay of My servants GRAM DICO
הַנְּבִיאִ֗ים han·nə·ḇî·’îm, the prophets GRAM DICO
､
וּדְמֵ֛י ū·ḏə·mê and the blood GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- of all GRAM DICO
עַבְדֵ֥י ‘aḇ·ḏê the servants GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
מִיַּ֥ד mî·yaḏ at the hand GRAM DICO
אִיזָֽבֶל׃ ’î·zā·ḇel. of Jezebel GRAM DICO

וְאָבַ֖ד wə·’ā·ḇaḏ For shall perish GRAM DICO
､
כָּל־ kāl- the whole GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ית bêṯ house GRAM DICO
אַחְאָ֑ב ’aḥ·’āḇ; of Ahab GRAM DICO
וְהִכְרַתִּ֤י wə·hiḵ·rat·tî and I will cut off GRAM DICO
לְאַחְאָב֙ lə·’aḥ·’āḇ from Ahab GRAM DICO
מַשְׁתִּ֣ין maš·tîn all the males GRAM DICO
בְּקִ֔יר bə·qîr, wall GRAM DICO
､
וְעָצ֥וּר wə·‘ā·ṣūr and both bond GRAM DICO
וְעָז֖וּב wə·‘ā·zūḇ and free GRAM DICO
בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ bə·yiś·rā·’êl. in Israel GRAM DICO

וְנָֽתַתִּי֙ wə·nā·ṯat·tî So I will make GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ית bêṯ the house GRAM DICO
אַחְאָ֔ב ’aḥ·’āḇ, of Ahab GRAM DICO
כְּבֵ֖ית kə·ḇêṯ like the house GRAM DICO
יָרָבְעָ֣ם yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām of Jeroboam GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
נְבָ֑ט nə·ḇāṭ; of Nebat GRAM DICO
､
וּכְבֵ֖ית ū·ḵə·ḇêṯ and like the house GRAM DICO
בַּעְשָׁ֥א ba‘·šā of Baasha GRAM DICO
בֶן־ ḇen- son GRAM DICO
אֲחִיָּֽה׃ ’ă·ḥî·yāh. of Ahijah GRAM DICO

וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- And GRAM DICO
אִיזֶ֜בֶל ’î·ze·ḇel Jezebel GRAM DICO
יֹאכְל֧וּ yō·ḵə·lū shall eat GRAM DICO
הַכְּלָבִ֛ים hak·kə·lā·ḇîm the dogs GRAM DICO
בְּחֵ֥לֶק bə·ḥê·leq on the plot [of ground] at GRAM DICO
יִזְרְעֶ֖אל yiz·rə·‘el Jezreel GRAM DICO
､
וְאֵ֣ין wə·’ên and [there shall be] none GRAM DICO
קֹבֵ֑ר qō·ḇêr; to bury [her] GRAM DICO
וַיִּפְתַּ֥ח way·yip̄·taḥ and he opened GRAM DICO
הַדֶּ֖לֶת had·de·leṯ the door GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּנֹֽס׃ way·yā·nōs. and fled GRAM DICO

וְיֵה֗וּא wə·yê·hū, And Jehu GRAM DICO
יָצָא֙ yā·ṣā came out GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
עַבְדֵ֣י ‘aḇ·ḏê the servants GRAM DICO
אֲדֹנָ֔יו ’ă·ḏō·nāw, of his master GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer and [one] said GRAM DICO
לוֹ֙ lōw to him GRAM
הֲשָׁל֔וֹם hă·šā·lō·wm, [Is] all well GRAM DICO
؟
מַדּ֛וּעַ mad·dū·a‘ why GRAM DICO
בָּֽא־ bā- did come GRAM DICO
הַמְשֻׁגָּ֥ע ham·šug·gā‘ madman GRAM DICO
הַזֶּ֖ה haz·zeh this GRAM DICO
אֵלֶ֑יךָ ’ê·le·ḵā; to you GRAM DICO
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer and he said GRAM DICO
אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם ’ă·lê·hem, to them GRAM DICO
אַתֶּ֛ם ’at·tem You GRAM DICO
יְדַעְתֶּ֥ם yə·ḏa‘·tem know GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הָאִ֖ישׁ hā·’îš the man GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
שִׂיחֽוֹ׃ śî·ḥōw. his babble GRAM DICO

וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ way·yō·mə·rū And they said GRAM DICO
､
שֶׁ֔קֶר še·qer, a lie GRAM DICO
–
הַגֶּד־ hag·geḏ- Tell GRAM DICO
נָ֖א nā now GRAM DICO
.
לָ֑נוּ lā·nū; Us GRAM
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר way·yō·mer, so he said GRAM DICO
､
כָּזֹ֤את kā·zōṯ Like this GRAM DICO
וְכָזֹאת֙ wə·ḵā·zōṯ and like this GRAM DICO
אָמַ֤ר ’ā·mar he spoke GRAM DICO
אֵלַי֙ ’ê·lay to me GRAM DICO
לֵאמֹ֔ר lê·mōr, saying GRAM DICO
､
כֹּ֚ה kōh thus GRAM DICO
אָמַ֣ר ’ā·mar says GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
מְשַׁחְתִּ֥יךָֽ mə·šaḥ·tî·ḵā I have anointed you GRAM DICO
לְמֶ֖לֶךְ lə·me·leḵ king GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- over GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ yiś·rā·’êl. Israel GRAM DICO

וַֽיְמַהֲר֗וּ way·ma·hă·rū, And hastened GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּקְחוּ֙ way·yiq·ḥū and to take GRAM DICO
אִ֣ישׁ ’îš each man GRAM DICO
בִּגְד֔וֹ biḡ·ḏōw, his garment GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ way·yā·śî·mū and put [it] GRAM DICO
תַחְתָּ֖יו ṯaḥ·tāw under him GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- on GRAM DICO
גֶּ֣רֶם ge·rem the top GRAM DICO
הַֽמַּעֲל֑וֹת ham·ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ; of the steps GRAM DICO
､
וַֽיִּתְקְעוּ֙ way·yiṯ·qə·‘ū and they blew GRAM DICO
בַּשּׁוֹפָ֔ר baš·šō·w·p̄ār, trumpets GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ way·yō·mə·rū and saying GRAM DICO
､
מָלַ֥ךְ mā·laḵ is king GRAM DICO
יֵהֽוּא׃ yê·hū. Jehu GRAM DICO

וַיִּתְקַשֵּׁ֗ר way·yiṯ·qaš·šêr, So conspired GRAM DICO
יֵה֛וּא yê·hū Jehu GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
יְהוֹשָׁפָ֥ט yə·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ of Jehoshaphat GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- the son GRAM DICO
נִמְשִׁ֖י nim·šî of Nimshi GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- against GRAM DICO
יוֹרָ֑ם yō·w·rām; Jehoram GRAM DICO
.
וְיוֹרָם֩ wə·yō·w·rām Now Jehoram GRAM DICO
הָיָ֨ה hā·yāh had GRAM DICO
שֹׁמֵ֜ר šō·mêr been defending GRAM DICO
בְּרָמֹ֣ת bə·rā·mōṯ Ramoth Gilead GRAM DICO
､
גִּלְעָ֗ד gil·‘āḏ, Gilead GRAM DICO
ה֚וּא hū he GRAM DICO
וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, Israel GRAM DICO
､
מִפְּנֵ֥י mip·pə·nê against GRAM DICO
חֲזָאֵ֖ל ḥă·zā·’êl Hazael GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
אֲרָֽם׃ ’ă·rām. of Syria GRAM DICO
