תִּקְע֨וּ tiq·‘ū Blow GRAM DICO

שׁוֹפָ֜ר šō·w·p̄ār the trumpet GRAM DICO

בְּצִיּ֗וֹן bə·ṣî·yō·wn, in Zion GRAM DICO

､

וְהָרִ֙יעוּ֙ wə·hā·rî·‘ū and sound an alarm GRAM DICO

בְּהַ֣ר bə·har in mountain GRAM DICO

קָדְשִׁ֔י qāḏ·šî My holy GRAM DICO

יִרְגְּז֕וּ yir·gə·zū let tremble GRAM DICO

､

כֹּ֖ל kōl all GRAM DICO

יֹשְׁבֵ֣י yō·šə·ḇê the inhabitants GRAM DICO

הָאָ֑רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ; of the land GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- for GRAM DICO

בָ֥א ḇā is coming GRAM DICO

יוֹם־ yō·wm- the day GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO

כִּ֥י kî for GRAM DICO

קָרֽוֹב׃ qā·rō·wḇ. it is at hand GRAM DICO

חֹ֣שֶׁךְ ḥō·šeḵ of darkness GRAM DICO

וַאֲפֵלָ֗ה wa·’ă·p̄ê·lāh, and [deep] darkness GRAM DICO

י֤וֹם yō·wm a day GRAM DICO

עָנָן֙ ‘ā·nān of clouds GRAM DICO

וַעֲרָפֶ֔ל wa·‘ă·rā·p̄el, and thick darkness GRAM DICO

､

כְּשַׁ֖חַר kə·ša·ḥar Like the morning [clouds] GRAM DICO

פָּרֻ֣שׂ pā·ruś spread GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- over GRAM DICO

הֶֽהָרִ֑ים he·hā·rîm; the mountains GRAM DICO

､

עַ֚ם ‘am a people [come] GRAM DICO

רַ֣ב raḇ great GRAM DICO

וְעָצ֔וּם wə·‘ā·ṣūm, and strong GRAM DICO

–

כָּמֹ֗הוּ kā·mō·hū, the like of whom GRAM DICO

､

לֹ֤א lō never GRAM DICO

נִֽהְיָה֙ nih·yāh has been GRAM DICO

מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO

הָ֣עוֹלָ֔ם hā·‘ō·w·lām, ever GRAM DICO

וְאַֽחֲרָיו֙ wə·’a·ḥă·rāw and after them GRAM DICO

לֹ֣א lō nor GRAM DICO

יוֹסֵ֔ף yō·w·sêp̄, will there be any [such] GRAM DICO

עַד־ ‘aḏ- Even GRAM DICO

שְׁנֵ֖י šə·nê for GRAM DICO

דּ֥וֹר dō·wr generations GRAM DICO

וָדֽוֹר׃ wā·ḏō·wr. and many successive GRAM DICO

לְפָנָיו֙ lə·p̄ā·nāw Before them GRAM DICO

אָ֣כְלָה ’ā·ḵə·lāh devours GRAM DICO

אֵ֔שׁ ’êš, a fire GRAM DICO

וְאַחֲרָ֖יו wə·’a·ḥă·rāw and behind them GRAM DICO

תְּלַהֵ֣ט tə·la·hêṭ burns GRAM DICO

לֶֽהָבָ֑ה le·hā·ḇāh; A flame GRAM DICO

כְּגַן־ kə·ḡan- [is] like the Garden GRAM DICO

עֵ֨דֶן ‘ê·ḏen of Eden GRAM DICO

הָאָ֜רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ the land GRAM DICO

לְפָנָ֗יו lə·p̄ā·nāw, before them GRAM DICO

וְאַֽחֲרָיו֙ wə·’a·ḥă·rāw and behind them GRAM DICO

מִדְבַּ֣ר miḏ·bar a wilderness GRAM DICO

–

שְׁמָמָ֔ה šə·mā·māh, desolate GRAM DICO

וְגַם־ wə·ḡam- and surely GRAM DICO

､

פְּלֵיטָ֖ה pə·lê·ṭāh escape GRAM DICO

לֹא־ lō- nothing GRAM DICO

הָ֥יְתָה hā·yə·ṯāh shall GRAM DICO

לּֽוֹ׃ lōw. them GRAM

Joël 2, 4

כְּמַרְאֵ֥ה kə·mar·’êh Like the appearance GRAM DICO

סוּסִ֖ים sū·sîm of horses GRAM DICO

–

מַרְאֵ֑הוּ mar·’ê·hū; their appearance is GRAM DICO

וּכְפָרָשִׁ֖ים ū·ḵə·p̄ā·rā·šîm and like swift steeds GRAM DICO

､

כֵּ֥ן kên so GRAM DICO

יְרוּצֽוּן׃ yə·rū·ṣūn. they run GRAM DICO

כְּק֣וֹל kə·qō·wl With a noise like GRAM DICO

מַרְכָּב֗וֹת mar·kā·ḇō·wṯ, chariots GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- Over GRAM DICO

רָאשֵׁ֤י rā·šê the tops GRAM DICO

הֶֽהָרִים֙ he·hā·rîm mountaintops GRAM DICO

יְרַקֵּד֔וּן yə·raq·qê·ḏūn, they leap GRAM DICO

､

כְּקוֹל֙ kə·qō·wl Like the noise GRAM DICO

לַ֣הַב la·haḇ of a fire GRAM DICO

אֵ֔שׁ ’êš, flaming GRAM DICO

אֹכְלָ֖ה ’ō·ḵə·lāh that devours GRAM DICO

קָ֑שׁ qāš; the stubble GRAM DICO

､

כְּעַ֣ם kə·‘am Like a people GRAM DICO

עָצ֔וּם ‘ā·ṣūm, strong GRAM DICO

עֱר֖וּךְ ‘ĕ·rūḵ set in array GRAM DICO

מִלְחָמָֽה׃ mil·ḥā·māh. battle GRAM DICO

Joël 2, 6

מִפָּנָ֖יו mip·pā·nāw Before them GRAM DICO

יָחִ֣ילוּ yā·ḥî·lū writhe in pain GRAM DICO

–

עַמִּ֑ים ‘am·mîm; the people GRAM DICO

כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO

פָּנִ֖ים pā·nîm faces GRAM DICO

קִבְּצ֥וּ qib·bə·ṣū are drained GRAM DICO

פָארֽוּר׃ p̄ā·rūr. of color GRAM DICO

כְּגִבּוֹרִ֣ים kə·ḡib·bō·w·rîm Like mighty men GRAM DICO

יְרֻצ֔וּן yə·ru·ṣūn, they run GRAM DICO

כְּאַנְשֵׁ֥י kə·’an·šê like men GRAM DICO

מִלְחָמָ֖ה mil·ḥā·māh of war GRAM DICO

–

יַעֲל֣וּ ya·‘ă·lū they climb GRAM DICO

חוֹמָ֑ה ḥō·w·māh; the wall GRAM DICO

וְאִ֤ישׁ wə·’îš and every one GRAM DICO

בִּדְרָכָיו֙ biḏ·rā·ḵāw in formation GRAM DICO

､

יֵֽלֵכ֔וּן yê·lê·ḵūn, marches GRAM DICO

וְלֹ֥א wə·lō and not GRAM DICO

יְעַבְּט֖וּן yə·‘ab·bə·ṭūn they do break GRAM DICO

אֹרְחוֹתָֽם׃ ’ō·rə·ḥō·w·ṯām. ranks GRAM DICO

Joël 2, 8

וְאִ֤ישׁ wə·’îš And one GRAM DICO

אָחִיו֙ ’ā·ḥîw another GRAM DICO

לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO

יִדְחָק֔וּן yiḏ·ḥā·qūn, they do push GRAM DICO

גֶּ֥בֶר ge·ḇer every one GRAM DICO

בִּמְסִלָּת֖וֹ bim·sil·lā·ṯōw in his column GRAM DICO

יֵֽלֵכ֑וּן yê·lê·ḵūn; marches GRAM DICO

וּבְעַ֥ד ū·ḇə·‘aḏ and Though between GRAM DICO

הַשֶּׁ֛לַח haš·še·laḥ the weapons GRAM DICO

､

יִפֹּ֖לוּ yip·pō·lū they lunge GRAM DICO

לֹ֥א lō not GRAM DICO

יִבְצָֽעוּ׃ yiḇ·ṣā·‘ū. they are cut down GRAM DICO

בָּעִ֣יר bā·‘îr In the city GRAM DICO

–

יָשֹׁ֗קּוּ yā·šōq·qū, they run to and fro GRAM DICO

בַּֽחוֹמָה֙ ba·ḥō·w·māh on the wall GRAM DICO

､

יְרֻצ֔וּן yə·ru·ṣūn, they run GRAM DICO

בַּבָּתִּ֖ים bab·bāt·tîm into the houses GRAM DICO

–

יַעֲל֑וּ ya·‘ă·lū; they climb GRAM DICO

בְּעַ֧ד bə·‘aḏ at GRAM DICO

הַחַלּוֹנִ֛ים ha·ḥal·lō·w·nîm the windows GRAM DICO

יָבֹ֖אוּ yā·ḇō·’ū they enter GRAM DICO
