הֶ֣בֶל he·ḇel Futile GRAM DICO

הֵ֔מָּה hêm·māh, they [are] GRAM DICO

מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה ma·‘ă·śêh a work GRAM DICO

תַּעְתֻּעִ֑ים ta‘·tu·‘îm; of errors GRAM DICO

–

בְּעֵ֥ת bə·‘êṯ in the time GRAM DICO

פְּקֻדָּתָ֖ם pə·qud·dā·ṯām of their punishment GRAM DICO

יֹאבֵֽדוּ׃ yō·ḇê·ḏū. they shall perish GRAM DICO

וְיִ֨שְׂרָאֵ֔ל wə·yiś·rā·’êl, and Israel [is] GRAM DICO

שֵׁ֖בֶט šê·ḇeṭ the tribe GRAM DICO

נַֽחֲלָת֑וֹ na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw; of His inheritance GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֥ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

צְבָא֖וֹת ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ of hosts GRAM DICO

שְׁמֽוֹ׃ šə·mōw. [is] His name GRAM DICO

הַזֹּ֑את haz·zōṯ; this GRAM DICO

וַהֲצֵר֥וֹתִי wa·hă·ṣê·rō·w·ṯî and will distress GRAM DICO

לָהֶ֖ם lā·hem them GRAM DICO

לְמַ֥עַן lə·ma·‘an that GRAM DICO

יִמְצָֽאוּ׃ yim·ṣā·’ū. they may find [it so] GRAM DICO

מַכָּתִ֑י mak·kā·ṯî; My wound is GRAM DICO

וַאֲנִ֣י wa·’ă·nî but I GRAM DICO

אָמַ֔רְתִּי ’ā·mar·tî, say GRAM DICO

אַ֛ךְ ’aḵ Truly GRAM DICO

חֳלִ֖י ḥo·lî an infirmity GRAM DICO

וְאֶשָּׂאֶֽנּוּ׃ wə·’eś·śā·’en·nū. and I must bear it GRAM DICO

אָהֳלִ֣י ’ā·ho·lî My tent GRAM DICO

שֻׁדָּ֔ד šud·dāḏ, is plundered GRAM DICO

וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO

מֵיתָרַ֖י mê·ṯā·ray my cords GRAM DICO

נִתָּ֑קוּ nit·tā·qū; are broken GRAM DICO

–

בָּנַ֤י bā·nay My children GRAM DICO

יְצָאֻ֙נִי֙ yə·ṣā·’u·nî have gone from me GRAM DICO

וְאֵינָ֔ם wə·’ê·nām, and they [are] no [more] GRAM DICO

–

אֵין־ ’ên- [There is] no one GRAM DICO

נֹטֶ֥ה nō·ṭeh to pitch GRAM DICO

עוֹד֙ ‘ō·wḏ anymore GRAM DICO

אָהֳלִ֔י ’ā·ho·lî, my tent GRAM DICO

וּמֵקִ֖ים ū·mê·qîm Or set up GRAM DICO

יְרִיעוֹתָֽי׃ yə·rî·‘ō·w·ṯāy. my curtains GRAM DICO

נִבְעֲרוּ֙ niḇ·‘ă·rū have become dull-hearted GRAM DICO

הָֽרֹעִ֔ים hā·rō·‘îm, the shepherds GRAM DICO

וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO

דָרָ֑שׁוּ ḏā·rā·šū; have sought GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO

כֵּן֙ kên thus GRAM DICO

לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO

הִשְׂכִּ֔ילוּ hiś·kî·lū, they shall prosper GRAM DICO

וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO

מַרְעִיתָ֖ם mar·‘î·ṯām their flocks GRAM DICO

נָפֽוֹצָה׃ nā·p̄ō·w·ṣāh. shall be scattered GRAM DICO

צָפ֑וֹן ṣā·p̄ō·wn; north GRAM DICO

לָשׂ֞וּם lā·śūm to make GRAM DICO

עָרֵ֧י ‘ā·rê the cities GRAM DICO

יְהוּדָ֛ה yə·hū·ḏāh of Judah GRAM DICO

שְׁמָמָ֖ה šə·mā·māh desolate GRAM DICO

מְע֥וֹן mə·‘ō·wn a den GRAM DICO

תַּנִּֽים׃ tan·nîm. of jackals GRAM DICO

לְאִ֣ישׁ lə·’îš in man GRAM DICO

הֹלֵ֔ךְ hō·lêḵ, who walks GRAM DICO

וְהָכִ֖ין wə·hā·ḵîn and to direct GRAM DICO

אֶֽת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

צַעֲדֽוֹ׃ ṣa·‘ă·ḏōw. his own steps GRAM DICO
