Michée 7, 3

עַל־ ‘al- Upon GRAM DICO

הָרַ֤ע hā·ra‘ evil GRAM DICO

כַּפַּ֙יִם֙ kap·pa·yim with both hands GRAM DICO

לְהֵיטִ֔יב lə·hê·ṭîḇ, that they may successfully do GRAM DICO

､

הַשַּׂ֣ר haś·śar the prince GRAM DICO

שֹׁאֵ֔ל šō·’êl, asks [for gifts] GRAM DICO

､

וְהַשֹּׁפֵ֖ט wə·haš·šō·p̄êṭ and the judge [seeks] GRAM DICO

בַּשִׁלּ֑וּם‪‬‪‬ baš·šil·lūm; a bribe GRAM DICO

–

וְהַגָּד֗וֹל wə·hag·gā·ḏō·wl, and the great [man] GRAM DICO

דֹּבֵ֨ר dō·ḇêr utters GRAM DICO

הַוַּ֥ת haw·waṯ evil GRAM DICO

נַפְשׁ֛וֹ nap̄·šōw his desire GRAM DICO

–

ה֖וּא hū he GRAM DICO

וַֽיְעַבְּתֽוּהָ׃ way·‘ab·bə·ṯū·hā. so they scheme together GRAM DICO

Michée 7, 4

טוֹבָ֣ם ṭō·w·ḇām The best of them [is] GRAM DICO

כְּחֵ֔דֶק kə·ḥê·ḏeq, like a brier GRAM DICO

､

יָשָׁ֖ר yā·šār the most upright [is sharper] GRAM DICO

מִמְּסוּכָ֑ה mim·mə·sū·ḵāh; than a thorn hedge GRAM DICO

–

י֤וֹם yō·wm the day GRAM DICO

מְצַפֶּ֙יךָ֙ mə·ṣap·pe·ḵā of your watchman GRAM DICO

פְּקֻדָּתְךָ֣ pə·qud·dā·ṯə·ḵā and your punishment GRAM DICO

בָ֔אָה ḇā·’āh, comes GRAM DICO

–

עַתָּ֥ה ‘at·tāh now GRAM DICO

תִהְיֶ֖ה ṯih·yeh shall be GRAM DICO

מְבוּכָתָֽם׃ mə·ḇū·ḵā·ṯām. their perplexity GRAM DICO

Michée 7, 5

אַל־ ’al- Not GRAM DICO

תַּאֲמִ֣ינוּ ta·’ă·mî·nū do trust GRAM DICO

בְרֵ֔עַ ḇə·rê·a‘, in a friend GRAM DICO

､

אַֽל־ ’al- not GRAM DICO

תִּבְטְח֖וּ tiḇ·ṭə·ḥū do put your confidence GRAM DICO

בְּאַלּ֑וּף bə·’al·lūp̄; in a companion GRAM DICO

–

מִשֹּׁכֶ֣בֶת miš·šō·ḵe·ḇeṯ from her who lies GRAM DICO

חֵיקֶ֔ךָ ḥê·qe·ḵā, in your bosom GRAM DICO

שְׁמֹ֖ר šə·mōr Guard GRAM DICO

פִּתְחֵי־ piṯ·ḥê- the doors GRAM DICO

פִֽיךָ׃ p̄î·ḵā. of your mouth GRAM DICO

Michée 7, 6

כִּֽי־ kî- For GRAM DICO

בֵן֙ ḇên son GRAM DICO

מְנַבֵּ֣ל mə·nab·bêl dishonors GRAM DICO

אָ֔ב ’āḇ, father GRAM DICO

､

בַּ֚ת baṯ Daughter GRAM DICO

קָמָ֣ה qā·māh rises GRAM DICO

בְאִמָּ֔הּ ḇə·’im·māh, against her mother GRAM DICO

､

כַּלָּ֖ה kal·lāh Daughter-in-law GRAM DICO

בַּחֲמֹתָ֑הּ ba·ḥă·mō·ṯāh; against her mother-in-law GRAM DICO

–

אֹיְבֵ֥י ’ō·yə·ḇê enemies [are] GRAM DICO

אִ֖ישׁ ’îš of a man GRAM DICO

אַנְשֵׁ֥י ’an·šê the men GRAM DICO

בֵיתֽוֹ׃ ḇê·ṯōw. of his own household GRAM DICO

וַאֲנִי֙ wa·’ă·nî Therefore I GRAM DICO

בַּיהוָ֣ה Yah·weh to Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֲצַפֶּ֔ה ’ă·ṣap·peh, will look GRAM DICO

אוֹחִ֖ילָה ’ō·w·ḥî·lāh I will wait GRAM DICO

לֵאלֹהֵ֣י lê·lō·hê for the God GRAM DICO

יִשְׁעִ֑י yiš·‘î; of my salvation GRAM DICO

יִשְׁמָעֵ֖נִי yiš·mā·‘ê·nî will hear me GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהָֽי׃ ’ĕ·lō·hāy. My God GRAM DICO

Michée 7, 8

אַֽל־ ’al- Not GRAM DICO

תִּשְׂמְחִ֤י tiś·mə·ḥî do rejoice GRAM DICO

אֹיַ֙בְתִּי֙ ’ō·yaḇ·tî my enemy GRAM DICO

–

לִ֔י lî, over me GRAM

כִּ֥י kî when GRAM DICO

נָפַ֖לְתִּי nā·p̄al·tî I fall GRAM DICO

､

קָ֑מְתִּי qā·mə·tî; I will arise GRAM DICO

–

כִּֽי־ kî- when GRAM DICO

אֵשֵׁ֣ב ’ê·šêḇ I sit GRAM DICO

בַּחֹ֔שֶׁךְ ba·ḥō·šeḵ, in darkness GRAM DICO

､

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh [will be] GRAM DICO

א֥וֹר ’ō·wr a light GRAM DICO

לִֽי׃ lî. to me GRAM

זַ֤עַף za·‘ap̄ The indignation GRAM DICO

יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO

､

אֶשָּׂ֔א ’eś·śā, I will bear GRAM DICO

כִּ֥י kî because GRAM DICO

חָטָ֖אתִי ḥā·ṭā·ṯî I have sinned GRAM DICO

ל֑וֹ lōw; against Him GRAM

עַד֩ ‘aḏ until GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO

יָרִ֤יב yā·rîḇ He pleads GRAM DICO

רִיבִי֙ rî·ḇî my case GRAM DICO

､

וְעָשָׂ֣ה wə·‘ā·śāh and executes GRAM DICO

מִשְׁפָּטִ֔י miš·pā·ṭî, justice for me GRAM DICO

יוֹצִיאֵ֣נִי yō·w·ṣî·’ê·nî He will bring me forth GRAM DICO

לָא֔וֹר lā·’ō·wr, to the light GRAM DICO

､

אֶרְאֶ֖ה ’er·’eh I will see GRAM DICO

בְּצִדְקָתֽוֹ׃ bə·ṣiḏ·qā·ṯōw. His righteousness GRAM DICO

Michée 7, 10

וְתֵרֶ֤א wə·ṯê·re And will see GRAM DICO

אֹיַ֙בְתִּי֙ ’ō·yaḇ·tî [she who is] my enemy GRAM DICO

וּתְכַסֶּ֣הָ ū·ṯə·ḵas·se·hā and will cover her GRAM DICO

בוּשָׁ֔ה ḇū·šāh, shame GRAM DICO

הָאֹמְרָ֣ה hā·’ō·mə·rāh who said GRAM DICO

אֵלַ֔י ’ê·lay, to me GRAM DICO

אַיּ֖וֹ ’ay·yōw where is GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֣ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהָ֑יִךְ ’ĕ·lō·hā·yiḵ; your God GRAM DICO

עֵינַי֙ ‘ê·nay My eyes GRAM DICO

תִּרְאֶ֣ינָּה tir·’en·nāh will see GRAM DICO

בָּ֔הּ bāh, her GRAM

עַתָּ֛ה ‘at·tāh now GRAM DICO

תִּֽהְיֶ֥ה tih·yeh she will be GRAM DICO

לְמִרְמָ֖ס lə·mir·mās trampled down GRAM DICO

כְּטִ֥יט kə·ṭîṭ Like mud in GRAM DICO

חוּצֽוֹת׃ ḥū·ṣō·wṯ. the streets GRAM DICO

Michée 7, 11

י֖וֹם yō·wm [In] the day GRAM DICO

לִבְנ֣וֹת liḇ·nō·wṯ when are to be built GRAM DICO

､

גְּדֵרָ֑יִךְ gə·ḏê·rā·yiḵ; your walls GRAM DICO

י֥וֹם yō·wm [In] day GRAM DICO

הַה֖וּא ha·hū that GRAM DICO

יִרְחַק־ yir·ḥaq- shall go far and wide GRAM DICO

חֹֽק׃ ḥōq. the decree GRAM DICO
