Néhémie 2, 17
וָאוֹמַ֣ר wā·’ō·w·mar And I said GRAM DICO
אֲלֵהֶ֗ם ’ă·lê·hem, to them GRAM DICO
אַתֶּ֤ם ’at·tem You GRAM DICO
רֹאִים֙ rō·’îm see GRAM DICO
הָרָעָה֙ hā·rā·‘āh the distress GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO
אֲנַ֣חְנוּ ’ă·naḥ·nū we [are] GRAM DICO
בָ֔הּ ḇāh, in GRAM
אֲשֶׁ֤ר ’ă·šer how GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ yə·rū·šā·lim Jerusalem GRAM DICO
חֲרֵבָ֔ה ḥă·rê·ḇāh, [lies] waste GRAM DICO
וּשְׁעָרֶ֖יהָ ū·šə·‘ā·re·hā and its gates GRAM DICO
נִצְּת֣וּ niṣ·ṣə·ṯū are burned GRAM DICO
בָאֵ֑שׁ ḇā·’êš; with fire GRAM DICO
.
לְכ֗וּ lə·ḵū, Come GRAM DICO
､
וְנִבְנֶה֙ wə·niḇ·neh and let us build GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
חוֹמַ֣ת ḥō·w·maṯ the wall GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם yə·rū·šā·lim, of Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
וְלֹא־ wə·lō- that no GRAM DICO
נִהְיֶ֥ה nih·yeh we may be GRAM DICO
ע֖וֹד ‘ō·wḏ longer GRAM DICO
חֶרְפָּֽה׃ ḥer·pāh. a reproach GRAM DICO

וָאַגִּ֨יד wā·’ag·gîḏ And I told GRAM DICO
לָהֶ֜ם lā·hem them GRAM
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
יַ֣ד yaḏ of the hand GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהַ֗י ’ĕ·lō·hay, of my God GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- which GRAM DICO
הִיא֙ hî was GRAM DICO
טוֹבָ֣ה ṭō·w·ḇāh good GRAM DICO
עָלַ֔י ‘ā·lay, upon me GRAM DICO
וְאַף־ wə·’ap̄- and also GRAM DICO
דִּבְרֵ֥י diḇ·rê of words GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ of the king GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO
אָֽמַר־ ’ā·mar- he had spoken GRAM DICO
לִ֑י lî; to me GRAM
וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ way·yō·mə·rū so they said GRAM DICO
､
נָק֣וּם nā·qūm let us rise up GRAM DICO
וּבָנִ֔ינוּ ū·ḇā·nî·nū, and build GRAM DICO

וַיְחַזְּק֥וּ way·ḥaz·zə·qū And they set GRAM DICO
יְדֵיהֶ֖ם yə·ḏê·hem their hands GRAM DICO
לַטּוֹבָֽה׃ laṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh. to [this] good [work] GRAM DICO

וְטֹבִיָּ֣ה ׀ wə·ṭō·ḇî·yāh and Tobiah GRAM DICO
הָעֶ֣בֶד hā·‘e·ḇeḏ the official GRAM DICO
､
הָֽעַמּוֹנִ֗י hā·‘am·mō·w·nî, Ammonite GRAM DICO
､
וְגֶ֙שֶׁם֙ wə·ḡe·šem and Geshem GRAM DICO
הָֽעַרְבִ֔י hā·‘ar·ḇî, the Arab GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּלְעִ֣גוּ way·yal·‘i·ḡū and they laughed GRAM DICO
､
לָ֔נוּ lā·nū, at us GRAM
וַיִּבְז֖וּ way·yiḇ·zū and despised GRAM DICO
עָלֵ֑ינוּ ‘ā·lê·nū; us GRAM DICO
וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ way·yō·mə·rū, and said GRAM DICO
､
מָֽה־ māh- what [is] GRAM DICO
הַדָּבָ֤ר had·dā·ḇār thing GRAM DICO
הַזֶּה֙ haz·zeh this GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO
אַתֶּ֣ם ’at·tem you GRAM DICO
עֹשִׂ֔ים ‘ō·śîm, are doing GRAM DICO
؟
הַעַ֥ל ha·‘al will against GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
؟
אַתֶּ֥ם ’at·tem you GRAM DICO
מֹרְדִֽים׃ mō·rə·ḏîm. rebel GRAM DICO

וָאָשִׁ֨יב wā·’ā·šîḇ So I answered GRAM DICO
אוֹתָ֜ם ’ō·w·ṯām them GRAM DICO
דָּבָ֗ר dā·ḇār, act GRAM DICO
וָאוֹמַ֤ר wā·’ō·w·mar and said GRAM DICO
לָהֶם֙ lā·hem to them GRAM
אֱלֹהֵ֣י ’ĕ·lō·hê the God GRAM DICO
הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם haš·šā·ma·yim, of heaven GRAM DICO
､
ה֚וּא hū He GRAM DICO
יַצְלִ֣יחַֽ yaṣ·lî·aḥ will prosper GRAM DICO
לָ֔נוּ lā·nū, us GRAM
וַאֲנַ֥חְנוּ wa·’ă·naḥ·nū therefore we GRAM DICO
עֲבָדָ֖יו ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw His servants GRAM DICO
נָק֣וּם nā·qūm will arise GRAM DICO
וּבָנִ֑ינוּ ū·ḇā·nî·nū; and build GRAM DICO
､
וְלָכֶ֗ם wə·lā·ḵem, but you GRAM
אֵֽין־ ’ên- have no GRAM DICO
חֵ֧לֶק ḥê·leq heritage GRAM DICO
､
וּצְדָקָ֛ה ū·ṣə·ḏā·qāh or right GRAM DICO
､
וְזִכָּר֖וֹן wə·zik·kā·rō·wn or memorial GRAM DICO
､
בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ bî·rū·šā·lim. in Jerusalem GRAM DICO

וַיָּ֡קָם way·yā·qām And rose up GRAM DICO
אֶלְיָשִׁיב֩ ’el·yā·šîḇ Eliashib GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֵ֨ן hak·kō·hên the priest GRAM DICO
הַגָּד֜וֹל hag·gā·ḏō·wl high GRAM DICO
וְאֶחָ֣יו wə·’e·ḥāw and with his brothers GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֲנִ֗ים hak·kō·hă·nîm, the priests GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּבְנוּ֙ way·yiḇ·nū and built GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
שַׁ֣עַר ša·‘ar Gate GRAM DICO
–
הַצֹּ֔אן haṣ·ṣōn, the Sheep GRAM DICO
הֵ֣מָּה hêm·māh they GRAM DICO
קִדְּשׁ֔וּהוּ qid·də·šū·hū, consecrated it GRAM DICO
וַֽיַּעֲמִ֖ידוּ way·ya·‘ă·mî·ḏū and hung GRAM DICO
דַּלְתֹתָ֑יו dal·ṯō·ṯāw; its doors GRAM DICO
וְעַד־ wə·‘aḏ- and they built as far as GRAM DICO
מִגְדַּ֤ל miḡ·dal the Tower GRAM DICO
הַמֵּאָה֙ ham·mê·’āh of the Hundred GRAM DICO
קִדְּשׁ֔וּהוּ qid·də·šū·hū, [and] consecrated it GRAM DICO
עַ֖ד ‘aḏ then as far as GRAM DICO
מִגְדַּ֥ל miḡ·dal the Tower GRAM DICO
חֲנַנְאֵֽל׃ ḥă·nan·’êl. of Hananel GRAM DICO
