וּבְנֵ֖י ū·ḇə·nê And the sons GRAM DICO

חֶלְאָ֑ה ḥel·’āh; of Helah GRAM DICO

יַעְבֵּץ֙ ya‘·bêṣ Jabez GRAM DICO

לֵאמֹ֔ר lê·mōr, saying GRAM DICO

､

כִּ֥י kî because GRAM DICO

יָלַ֖דְתִּי yā·laḏ·tî I bore [him] GRAM DICO

בְּעֹֽצֶב׃ bə·‘ō·ṣeḇ. in pain GRAM DICO

וַיִּקְרָ֣א way·yiq·rā And called GRAM DICO

יַ֠עְבֵּץ ya‘·bêṣ Jabez GRAM DICO

לֵאלֹהֵ֨י lê·lō·hê on the God GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO

לֵאמֹ֗ר lê·mōr, saying GRAM DICO

､

אִם־ ’im- Oh that GRAM DICO

בָּרֵ֨ךְ bā·rêḵ indeed GRAM DICO

תְּבָרֲכֵ֜נִי tə·ḇā·ră·ḵê·nî You would bless me GRAM DICO

וְהִרְבִּ֤יתָ wə·hir·bî·ṯā and enlarge GRAM DICO

גְּבוּלִי֙ gə·ḇū·lî my territory GRAM DICO

､

וְהָיְתָ֤ה wə·hā·yə·ṯāh that would be GRAM DICO

יָדְךָ֙ yā·ḏə·ḵā Your hand GRAM DICO

עִמִּ֔י ‘im·mî, with me GRAM DICO

וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā that You would keep [me] GRAM DICO

מֵּרָעָ֖ה mê·rā·‘āh from evil GRAM DICO

､

לְבִלְתִּ֣י lə·ḇil·tî that not GRAM DICO

עָצְבִּ֑י ‘ā·ṣə·bî; I may cause pain GRAM DICO

וַיָּבֵ֥א way·yā·ḇê so granted GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהִ֖ים ’ĕ·lō·hîm God GRAM DICO

אֵ֥ת ’êṯ him GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- what GRAM DICO

שָׁאָֽל׃ šā·’āl. he requested GRAM DICO
