Néhémie 4, 12
וַֽיְהִי֙ way·hî So it was GRAM DICO
､
כַּאֲשֶׁר־ ka·’ă·šer- when GRAM DICO
בָּ֣אוּ bā·’ū came GRAM DICO
､
הַיְּהוּדִ֔ים hay·yə·hū·ḏîm, the Jews GRAM DICO
הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים hay·yō·šə·ḇîm who dwelt GRAM DICO
אֶצְלָ֑ם ’eṣ·lām; near them GRAM DICO
וַיֹּ֤אמְרוּ way·yō·mə·rū that they told GRAM DICO
לָ֙נוּ֙ lā·nū us GRAM
עֶ֣שֶׂר ‘e·śer ten GRAM DICO
פְּעָמִ֔ים pə·‘ā·mîm, times GRAM DICO
､
מִכָּל־ mik·kāl from whatever GRAM DICO
הַמְּקֹמ֖וֹת ham·mə·qō·mō·wṯ place GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- which GRAM DICO
תָּשׁ֥וּבוּ tā·šū·ḇū you turn GRAM DICO
עָלֵֽינוּ׃ ‘ā·lê·nū. [they will be] upon us GRAM DICO

וָֽאַעֲמִ֞יד wā·’a·‘ă·mîḏ Therefore I positioned [men] GRAM DICO
מִֽתַּחְתִּיּ֧וֹת mit·taḥ·tî·yō·wṯ the lower GRAM DICO
לַמָּק֛וֹם lam·mā·qō·wm parts GRAM DICO
מֵאַחֲרֵ֥י mê·’a·ḥă·rê of GRAM DICO
לַחוֹמָ֖ה la·ḥō·w·māh behind the wall GRAM DICO

[בצחחיים] baṣ·ṣə·ḥi·ḥî·yîm  -  GRAM
(בַּצְּחִיחִ֑ים) baṣ·ṣə·ḥî·ḥîm; at the openings GRAM DICO
וָֽאַעֲמִ֤יד wā·’a·‘ă·mîḏ and I set GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הָעָם֙ hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
לְמִשְׁפָּח֔וֹת lə·miš·pā·ḥō·wṯ, according to their families GRAM DICO
עִם־ ‘im- with GRAM DICO
חַרְבֹתֵיהֶ֛ם ḥar·ḇō·ṯê·hem their swords GRAM DICO
､
רָמְחֵיהֶ֖ם rā·mə·ḥê·hem their spears GRAM DICO
､
וְקַשְּׁתֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ wə·qaš·šə·ṯō·ṯê·hem. and their bows GRAM DICO

וָאֵ֣רֶא wā·’ê·re And I looked GRAM DICO
､
וָאָק֗וּם wā·’ā·qūm, and arose GRAM DICO
､
וָאֹמַ֞ר wā·’ō·mar and said GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
הַחֹרִ֤ים ha·ḥō·rîm the nobles GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶל־ wə·’el- and to GRAM DICO
הַסְּגָנִים֙ has·sə·ḡā·nîm the leaders GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶל־ wə·’el- and to GRAM DICO
יֶ֣תֶר ye·ṯer the rest GRAM DICO
הָעָ֔ם hā·‘ām, of the people GRAM DICO
､
אַל־ ’al- not GRAM DICO
תִּֽירְא֖וּ tî·rə·’ū do be afraid GRAM DICO
מִפְּנֵיהֶ֑ם mip·pə·nê·hem; of them GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
אֲדֹנָ֞י ’ă·ḏō·nāy the Lord GRAM DICO
､
הַגָּד֤וֹל hag·gā·ḏō·wl great GRAM DICO
וְהַנּוֹרָא֙ wə·han·nō·w·rā and awesome GRAM DICO
､
זְכֹ֔רוּ zə·ḵō·rū, Remember GRAM DICO
וְהִֽלָּחֲמ֗וּ wə·hil·lā·ḥă·mū, and fight GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- for GRAM DICO
אֲחֵיכֶם֙ ’ă·ḥê·ḵem your brothers GRAM DICO
､
בְּנֵיכֶ֣ם bə·nê·ḵem your sons GRAM DICO
､
וּבְנֹתֵיכֶ֔ם ū·ḇə·nō·ṯê·ḵem, and your daughters GRAM DICO
､
נְשֵׁיכֶ֖ם nə·šê·ḵem your wives GRAM DICO
､
וּבָתֵּיכֶֽם׃ ū·ḇāt·tê·ḵem. and your houses GRAM DICO

אוֹיְבֵ֙ינוּ֙ ’ō·wy·ḇê·nū our enemies GRAM DICO

נ֣וֹדַֽע nō·w·ḏa‘ it was known GRAM DICO
לָ֔נוּ lā·nū, to us GRAM
וַיָּ֥פֶר way·yā·p̄er and [that] had brought to nothing GRAM DICO
הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm God GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
עֲצָתָ֑ם ‘ă·ṣā·ṯām; their plot GRAM DICO
[ונשוב] wan·nā·šūḇ  -  GRAM
(וַנָּ֤שָׁב) wan·nā·šāḇ that returned GRAM DICO
כֻּלָּ֙נוּ֙ kul·lā·nū all of us GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
הַ֣חוֹמָ֔ה ha·ḥō·w·māh, the wall GRAM DICO
､
אִ֖ישׁ ’îš everyone GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
מְלַאכְתּֽוֹ׃ mə·laḵ·tōw. his work GRAM DICO

הַיּ֣וֹם hay·yō·wm time on GRAM DICO
הַה֗וּא ha·hū, that GRAM DICO
חֲצִ֣י ḥă·ṣî [that] half GRAM DICO
נְעָרַי֮ nə·‘ā·ray of my servants GRAM DICO
עֹשִׂ֣ים ‘ō·śîm worked GRAM DICO
בַּמְּלָאכָה֒ bam·mə·lā·ḵāh at construction GRAM DICO
､
וְחֶצְיָ֗ם wə·ḥeṣ·yām, and while [other] half GRAM DICO
מַחֲזִיקִים֙ ma·ḥă·zî·qîm held GRAM DICO
וְהָרְמָחִ֣ים wə·hā·rə·mā·ḥîm and the spears GRAM DICO
､
הַמָּגִנִּ֔ים ham·mā·ḡin·nîm, the shields GRAM DICO
､
וְהַקְּשָׁת֖וֹת wə·haq·qə·šā·ṯō·wṯ and the bows GRAM DICO
､
וְהַשִּׁרְיֹנִ֑ים wə·haš·šir·yō·nîm; and [wore] armor GRAM DICO
–
וְהַ֨שָּׂרִ֔ים wə·haś·śā·rîm, and the leaders [were] GRAM DICO
אַחֲרֵ֖י ’a·ḥă·rê behind GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ the house GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָֽה׃ yə·hū·ḏāh. of Judah GRAM DICO

הַבּוֹנִ֧ים hab·bō·w·nîm Those who built GRAM DICO
בַּחוֹמָ֛ה ba·ḥō·w·māh on the wall GRAM DICO
､
וְהַנֹּשְׂאִ֥ים wə·han·nō·śə·’îm and those who carried GRAM DICO
בַּסֶּ֖בֶל bas·se·ḇel burdens GRAM DICO
､
עֹמְשִׂ֑ים ‘ō·mə·śîm; loaded themselves GRAM DICO
､
בְּאַחַ֤ת bə·’a·ḥaṯ so that with one GRAM DICO
יָדוֹ֙ yā·ḏōw hand GRAM DICO
עֹשֶׂ֣ה ‘ō·śeh they worked GRAM DICO
בַמְּלָאכָ֔ה ḇam·mə·lā·ḵāh, at construction GRAM DICO
､
וְאַחַ֖ת wə·’a·ḥaṯ and one GRAM DICO
מַחֲזֶ֥קֶת ma·ḥă·ze·qeṯ held GRAM DICO
הַשָּֽׁלַח׃ haš·šā·laḥ. a weapon GRAM DICO

וְהַ֨בּוֹנִ֔ים wə·hab·bō·w·nîm, And of the builders GRAM DICO
､
אִ֥ישׁ ’îš every one GRAM DICO
חַרְבּ֛וֹ ḥar·bōw had his sword GRAM DICO
אֲסוּרִ֥ים ’ă·sū·rîm girded GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- at GRAM DICO
מָתְנָ֖יו mā·ṯə·nāw his side GRAM DICO
､
וּבוֹנִ֑ים ū·ḇō·w·nîm; and as he built GRAM DICO

וְהַתּוֹקֵ֥עַ wə·hat·tō·w·qê·a‘ And the one who sounded GRAM DICO
בַּשּׁוֹפָ֖ר baš·šō·w·p̄ār the trumpet GRAM DICO
אֶצְלִֽי׃ ’eṣ·lî. [was] beside me GRAM DICO
