Néhémie 4, 3
וְטוֹבִיָּ֥ה wə·ṭō·w·ḇî·yāh and Tobiah [was] GRAM DICO
הָעַמֹּנִ֖י hā·‘am·mō·nî the Ammonite GRAM DICO
אֶצְל֑וֹ ’eṣ·lōw; beside him GRAM DICO
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר way·yō·mer, and he said GRAM DICO
､
גַּ֚ם gam even GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- whatever GRAM DICO
הֵ֣ם hêm they GRAM DICO
בּוֹנִ֔ים bō·w·nîm, build GRAM DICO
､
אִם־ ’im- if GRAM DICO
יַעֲלֶ֣ה ya·‘ă·leh goes up [on it] GRAM DICO
､
שׁוּעָ֔ל šū·‘āl, a fox GRAM DICO
וּפָרַ֖ץ ū·p̄ā·raṣ and even he will break down GRAM DICO
חוֹמַ֥ת ḥō·w·maṯ wall GRAM DICO
אַבְנֵיהֶֽם׃ ’aḇ·nê·hem. their stone GRAM DICO

שְׁמַ֤ע šə·ma‘ Hear GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū our God GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- for GRAM DICO
הָיִ֣ינוּ hā·yî·nū we are GRAM DICO
בוּזָ֔ה ḇū·zāh, despised GRAM DICO
!
וְהָשֵׁ֥ב wə·hā·šêḇ and turn GRAM DICO
חֶרְפָּתָ֖ם ḥer·pā·ṯām their reproach GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- on GRAM DICO
רֹאשָׁ֑ם rō·šām; their own heads GRAM DICO
､
וּתְנֵ֥ם ū·ṯə·nêm and give them GRAM DICO
לְבִזָּ֖ה lə·ḇiz·zāh as plunder GRAM DICO
בְּאֶ֥רֶץ bə·’e·reṣ to a land GRAM DICO
שִׁבְיָֽה׃ šiḇ·yāh. of captivity GRAM DICO

וְאַל־ wə·’al- And not GRAM DICO
תְּכַס֙ tə·ḵas do cover GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO
עֲוֺנָ֔ם ‘ă·wō·nām, their iniquity GRAM DICO
､
וְחַטָּאתָ֖ם wə·ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯām and their sin GRAM DICO
מִלְּפָנֶ֣יךָ mil·lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā from before You GRAM DICO
אַל־ ’al- not GRAM DICO
תִּמָּחֶ֑ה tim·mā·ḥeh; do let be blotted out GRAM DICO
כִּ֥י kî for GRAM DICO
הִכְעִ֖יסוּ hiḵ·‘î·sū they have provoked [You] to anger GRAM DICO
לְנֶ֥גֶד lə·ne·ḡeḏ before GRAM DICO
הַבּוֹנִֽים׃ hab·bō·w·nîm. the builders GRAM DICO

Néhémie 4, 6
וַנִּבְנֶה֙ wan·niḇ·neh So we built GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַ֣חוֹמָ֔ה ha·ḥō·w·māh, the wall GRAM DICO
–
וַתִּקָּשֵׁ֥ר wat·tiq·qā·šêr and was joined together GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- entire GRAM DICO
הַחוֹמָ֖ה ha·ḥō·w·māh the wall GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- up to GRAM DICO
חֶצְיָ֑הּ ḥeṣ·yāh; half its [height] GRAM DICO
וַיְהִ֧י way·hî and had GRAM DICO
לֵ֦ב lêḇ a mind GRAM DICO
לָעָ֖ם lā·‘ām for the people GRAM DICO
לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ la·‘ă·śō·wṯ. to work GRAM DICO

וַיְהִ֣י way·hî And it came to pass GRAM DICO
､
כַאֲשֶׁ֣ר ḵa·’ă·šer when GRAM DICO
שָׁמַ֣ע šā·ma‘ heard GRAM DICO
סַנְבַלַּ֡ט san·ḇal·laṭ Sanballat GRAM DICO
､
וְ֠טוֹבִיָּה wə·ṭō·w·ḇî·yāh and Tobiah GRAM DICO
､
וְהָעַרְבִ֨ים wə·hā·‘ar·ḇîm and the Arabs GRAM DICO
､
וְהָעַמֹּנִ֜ים wə·hā·‘am·mō·nîm and the Ammonites GRAM DICO
､
וְהָאַשְׁדּוֹדִ֗ים wə·hā·’aš·dō·w·ḏîm, and the Ashdodites GRAM DICO
､
כִּֽי־ kî- that GRAM DICO
עָלְתָ֤ה ‘ā·lə·ṯāh went GRAM DICO
אֲרוּכָה֙ ’ă·rū·ḵāh [were being] restored GRAM DICO
､
לְחֹמ֣וֹת lə·ḥō·mō·wṯ the walls GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם yə·rū·šā·lim, of Jerusalem GRAM DICO
כִּי־ kî- and GRAM DICO
הֵחֵ֥לּוּ hê·ḥêl·lū were beginning GRAM DICO
הַפְּרֻצִ֖ים hap·pə·ru·ṣîm the gaps GRAM DICO
לְהִסָּתֵ֑ם lə·his·sā·ṯêm; to be closed GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּ֥חַר way·yi·ḥar that became angry GRAM DICO
､
לָהֶ֖ם lā·hem they GRAM
מְאֹֽד׃ mə·’ōḏ. very GRAM DICO

Néhémie 4, 8
וַיִּקְשְׁר֤וּ way·yiq·šə·rū And conspired GRAM DICO
כֻלָּם֙ ḵul·lām all of them GRAM DICO
יַחְדָּ֔ו yaḥ·dāw, together GRAM DICO
לָב֖וֹא lā·ḇō·w to come GRAM DICO
לְהִלָּחֵ֣ם lə·hil·lā·ḥêm [and] attack GRAM DICO
בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם bî·rū·šā·lim; Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
וְלַעֲשׂ֥וֹת wə·la·‘ă·śō·wṯ and create confusion GRAM DICO
ל֖וֹ lōw to GRAM
תּוֹעָֽה׃ tō·w·‘āh. hinder GRAM DICO

וַנִּתְפַּלֵּ֖ל wan·niṯ·pal·lêl And nevertheless we made our prayer GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū; our God GRAM DICO
､
וַנַּעֲמִ֨יד wan·na·‘ă·mîḏ and we set GRAM DICO
מִשְׁמָ֧ר miš·mār a watch GRAM DICO
עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם ‘ă·lê·hem against them GRAM DICO
יוֹמָ֥ם yō·w·mām day GRAM DICO
וָלַ֖יְלָה wā·lay·lāh and night GRAM DICO
､
מִפְּנֵיהֶֽם׃ mip·pə·nê·hem. because of them GRAM DICO

Néhémie 4, 10
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
､
יְהוּדָ֗ה yə·hū·ḏāh, Judah GRAM DICO
כָּשַׁל֙ kā·šal is failing GRAM DICO
､
כֹּ֣חַ kō·aḥ the strength GRAM DICO
הַסַּבָּ֔ל has·sab·bāl, of the laborers GRAM DICO
וְהֶעָפָ֖ר wə·he·‘ā·p̄ār and there [is] rubbish GRAM DICO
–
הַרְבֵּ֑ה har·bêh; so much GRAM DICO
וַאֲנַ֙חְנוּ֙ wa·’ă·naḥ·nū that we GRAM DICO
לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO
נוּכַ֔ל nū·ḵal, are able GRAM DICO
לִבְנ֖וֹת liḇ·nō·wṯ to build GRAM DICO
בַּחוֹמָֽה׃ ba·ḥō·w·māh. the wall GRAM DICO

Néhémie 4, 11
וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ way·yō·mə·rū And said GRAM DICO
､
צָרֵ֗ינוּ ṣā·rê·nū, our adversaries GRAM DICO
לֹ֤א lō neither GRAM DICO
יֵדְעוּ֙ yê·ḏə·‘ū they will know GRAM DICO
､
וְלֹ֣א wə·lō nor GRAM DICO
יִרְא֔וּ yir·’ū, see anything GRAM DICO
､
עַ֛ד ‘aḏ until GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- till GRAM DICO
נָב֥וֹא nā·ḇō·w we come GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- into GRAM DICO
תּוֹכָ֖ם tō·w·ḵām their midst GRAM DICO
וַהֲרַגְנ֑וּם wa·hă·raḡ·nūm; and kill them GRAM DICO
וְהִשְׁבַּ֖תְנוּ wə·hiš·baṯ·nū and cause to cease GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַמְּלָאכָֽה׃ ham·mə·lā·ḵāh. the work GRAM DICO
