כִּ֥י kî Surely GRAM DICO
הָעֹ֖שֶׁק hā·‘ō·šeq oppression GRAM DICO
יְהוֹלֵ֣ל yə·hō·w·lêl destroys reason GRAM DICO
–
חָכָ֑ם ḥā·ḵām; a wise [man's] GRAM DICO
וִֽיאַבֵּ֥ד wî·’ab·bêḏ and debases GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
לֵ֖ב lêḇ the heart GRAM DICO
מַתָּנָֽה׃ mat·tā·nāh. a bribe GRAM DICO

ט֛וֹב ṭō·wḇ [is] better GRAM DICO
אַחֲרִ֥ית ’a·ḥă·rîṯ the end GRAM DICO
דָּבָ֖ר dā·ḇār of a thing GRAM DICO
מֵֽרֵאשִׁית֑וֹ mê·rê·šî·ṯōw; than its beginning GRAM DICO
ט֥וֹב ṭō·wḇ [is] better GRAM DICO
אֶֽרֶךְ־ ’e·reḵ- the slow in GRAM DICO
ר֖וּחַ rū·aḥ spirit GRAM DICO
מִגְּבַהּ־ mig·gə·ḇah- than the high in GRAM DICO
רֽוּחַ׃ rū·aḥ. spirit GRAM DICO

תְּבַהֵ֥ל tə·ḇa·hêl do hasten GRAM DICO
בְּרֽוּחֲךָ֖ bə·rū·ḥă·ḵā in your spirit GRAM DICO
לִכְע֑וֹס liḵ·‘ō·ws; to be angry GRAM DICO

כִּ֣י kî for GRAM DICO
כַ֔עַס ḵa·‘as, anger GRAM DICO
בְּחֵ֥יק bə·ḥêq in the bosom GRAM DICO
כְּסִילִ֖ים kə·sî·lîm of fools GRAM DICO
יָנֽוּחַ׃ yā·nū·aḥ. rests GRAM DICO

הָרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים hā·ri·šō·nîm, former GRAM DICO
הָי֥וּ hā·yū were GRAM DICO
טוֹבִ֖ים ṭō·w·ḇîm better GRAM DICO
מֵאֵ֑לֶּה mê·’êl·leh; than these GRAM DICO

כִּ֛י kî for GRAM DICO
לֹ֥א lō not GRAM DICO
מֵחָכְמָ֖ה mê·ḥā·ḵə·māh wisely GRAM DICO
שָׁאַ֥לְתָּ šā·’al·tā you do inquire GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- concerning GRAM DICO

טוֹבָ֥ה ṭō·w·ḇāh [is] good GRAM DICO
חָכְמָ֖ה ḥāḵ·māh Wisdom GRAM DICO
עִֽם־ ‘im- with GRAM DICO
נַחֲלָ֑ה na·ḥă·lāh; an inheritance GRAM DICO
–
וְיֹתֵ֖ר wə·yō·ṯêr and profitable GRAM DICO
לְרֹאֵ֥י lə·rō·’ê to those who see GRAM DICO
הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃ haš·šā·meš. the sun GRAM DICO

בְּצֵ֥ל bə·ṣêl [is] a defense GRAM DICO
､
הַֽחָכְמָ֖ה ha·ḥā·ḵə·māh wisdom GRAM DICO
בְּצֵ֣ל bə·ṣêl [is] a defense GRAM DICO
､
הַכָּ֑סֶף hak·kā·sep̄; [as] money GRAM DICO
וְיִתְר֣וֹן wə·yiṯ·rō·wn but the excellence GRAM DICO
דַּ֔עַת da·‘aṯ, of knowledge [is] GRAM DICO
הַֽחָכְמָ֖ה ha·ḥā·ḵə·māh [that] wisdom GRAM DICO
תְּחַיֶּ֥ה tə·ḥay·yeh gives life GRAM DICO
בְעָלֶֽיהָ׃ ḇə·‘ā·le·hā. to those who have it GRAM DICO

רְאֵ֖ה rə·’êh Consider GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה ma·‘ă·śêh the work GRAM DICO
הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm; of God GRAM DICO

כִּ֣י kî for GRAM DICO
מִ֤י mî who GRAM DICO
יוּכַל֙ yū·ḵal can GRAM DICO
לְתַקֵּ֔ן lə·ṯaq·qên, make straight GRAM DICO
､
אֵ֖ת ’êṯ  -  GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer what GRAM DICO
עִוְּתֽוֹ׃ ‘iw·wə·ṯōw. He has made crooked GRAM DICO

בְּי֤וֹם bə·yō·wm in the day GRAM DICO
טוֹבָה֙ ṭō·w·ḇāh of prosperity GRAM DICO
הֱיֵ֣ה hĕ·yêh be GRAM DICO
בְט֔וֹב ḇə·ṭō·wḇ, joyful GRAM DICO
､
וּבְי֥וֹם ū·ḇə·yō·wm but in the day GRAM DICO
רָעָ֖ה rā·‘āh of adversity GRAM DICO
רְאֵ֑ה rə·’êh; consider GRAM DICO
–
גַּ֣ם gam surely GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
זֶ֤ה zeh this [one] GRAM DICO
לְעֻמַּת־ lə·‘um·maṯ- as well as GRAM DICO
זֶה֙ zeh this [one] GRAM DICO
､
עָשָׂ֣ה ‘ā·śāh has appointed GRAM DICO
הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm, God GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- to GRAM DICO
דִּבְרַ֗ת diḇ·raṯ, the end GRAM DICO
שֶׁלֹּ֨א šel·lō so that nothing GRAM DICO
יִמְצָ֧א yim·ṣā can find out GRAM DICO
הָֽאָדָ֛ם hā·’ā·ḏām man GRAM DICO
אַחֲרָ֖יו ’a·ḥă·rāw [that will come] after him GRAM DICO
מְאֽוּמָה׃ mə·’ū·māh. nothing GRAM DICO

הַכֹּ֥ל hak·kōl Everything GRAM DICO
רָאִ֖יתִי rā·’î·ṯî I have seen GRAM DICO
בִּימֵ֣י bî·mê in days GRAM DICO
הֶבְלִ֑י heḇ·lî; of my vanity GRAM DICO
–
יֵ֤שׁ yêš there is GRAM DICO
צַדִּיק֙ ṣad·dîq a just [man] GRAM DICO
אֹבֵ֣ד ’ō·ḇêḏ who perishes GRAM DICO
בְּצִדְק֔וֹ bə·ṣiḏ·qōw, in his righteousness GRAM DICO
､
וְיֵ֣שׁ wə·yêš and there is GRAM DICO
רָשָׁ֔ע rā·šā‘, a wicked [man] GRAM DICO
מַאֲרִ֖יךְ ma·’ă·rîḵ who prolongs [life] GRAM DICO
בְּרָעָתֽוֹ׃ bə·rā·‘ā·ṯōw. in his wickedness GRAM DICO

תְּהִ֤י tə·hî do be GRAM DICO
צַדִּיק֙ ṣad·dîq righteous GRAM DICO
הַרְבֵּ֔ה har·bêh, overly GRAM DICO
–
וְאַל־ wə·’al- nor GRAM DICO
תִּתְחַכַּ֖ם tiṯ·ḥak·kam be wise GRAM DICO
יוֹתֵ֑ר yō·w·ṯêr; overly GRAM DICO
–
לָ֖מָּה lām·māh why GRAM DICO
תִּשּׁוֹמֵֽם׃ tiš·šō·w·mêm. should you destroy yourself GRAM DICO

תִּרְשַׁ֥ע tir·ša‘ do be wicked GRAM DICO
､
הַרְבֵּ֖ה har·bêh overly GRAM DICO
וְאַל־ wə·’al- nor GRAM DICO
תְּהִ֣י tə·hî be GRAM DICO
סָכָ֑ל sā·ḵāl; foolish GRAM DICO
.
לָ֥מָּה lām·māh Why GRAM DICO
תָמ֖וּת ṯā·mūṯ should you die GRAM DICO
בְּלֹ֥א bə·lō before GRAM DICO
עִתֶּֽךָ׃ ‘it·te·ḵā. your time GRAM DICO
