וַהֲצֵרֹ֣תִי wa·hă·ṣê·rō·ṯî And I will bring distress GRAM DICO
לָאָדָ֗ם lā·’ā·ḏām, upon men GRAM DICO
､
וְהָֽלְכוּ֙ wə·hā·lə·ḵū and they shall walk GRAM DICO
כַּֽעִוְרִ֔ים ka·‘iw·rîm, like blind men GRAM DICO
､
כִּ֥י kî because GRAM DICO
לַֽיהוָ֖ה Yah·weh against Yahweh GRAM DICO
–
חָטָ֑אוּ ḥā·ṭā·’ū; they have sinned GRAM DICO
וְשֻׁפַּ֤ךְ wə·šup·paḵ and shall be poured out GRAM DICO
דָּמָם֙ dā·mām their blood GRAM DICO
כֶּֽעָפָ֔ר ke·‘ā·p̄ār, like dust GRAM DICO
､
וּלְחֻמָ֖ם ū·lə·ḥu·mām and their flesh GRAM DICO
כַּגְּלָלִֽים׃ kag·gə·lā·lîm. like refuse GRAM DICO

לְהַצִּילָ֗ם lə·haṣ·ṣî·lām, to deliver them GRAM DICO
בְּיוֹם֙ bə·yō·wm in the day GRAM DICO
עֶבְרַ֣ת ‘eḇ·raṯ of the wrath GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, of Yahweh GRAM DICO
וּבְאֵשׁ֙ ū·ḇə·’êš but by the fire GRAM DICO
קִנְאָת֔וֹ qin·’ā·ṯōw, of His jealousy GRAM DICO
､
תֵּאָכֵ֖ל tê·’ā·ḵêl shall be devoured GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
הָאָ֑רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ; the land GRAM DICO
כִּֽי־ kî- for GRAM DICO
כָלָ֤ה ḵā·lāh riddance GRAM DICO
אַךְ־ ’aḵ- even GRAM DICO
נִבְהָלָה֙ niḇ·hā·lāh speedy GRAM DICO
יַֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה ya·‘ă·śeh, He will make GRAM DICO
אֵ֥ת ’êṯ of GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
יֹשְׁבֵ֖י yō·šə·ḇê those who dwell GRAM DICO
הָאָֽרֶץ׃ hā·’ā·reṣ. in the land GRAM DICO

הַגּ֖וֹי hag·gō·w nation GRAM DICO

עַנְוֵ֣י ‘an·wê you meek GRAM DICO
הָאָ֔רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ, of the earth GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer who GRAM DICO
מִשְׁפָּט֖וֹ miš·pā·ṭōw His justice GRAM DICO
–
פָּעָ֑לוּ pā·‘ā·lū; have upheld GRAM DICO
בַּקְּשׁוּ־ baq·qə·šū- Seek GRAM DICO
צֶ֙דֶק֙ ṣe·ḏeq righteousness GRAM DICO
､
בַּקְּשׁ֣וּ baq·qə·šū seek GRAM DICO
עֲנָוָ֔ה ‘ă·nā·wāh, humility GRAM DICO

אוּלַי֙ ’ū·lay It may be that GRAM DICO
תִּסָּ֣תְר֔וּ tis·sā·ṯə·rū, you will be hidden GRAM DICO
בְּי֖וֹם bə·yō·wm in the day GRAM DICO

תִֽהְיֶ֔ה ṯih·yeh, shall be GRAM DICO
וְאַשְׁקְל֖וֹן wə·’aš·qə·lō·wn and Ashkelon GRAM DICO
לִשְׁמָמָ֑ה liš·mā·māh; desolate GRAM DICO
–
אַשְׁדּ֗וֹד ’aš·dō·wḏ, Ashdod GRAM DICO
בַּֽצָּהֳרַ֙יִם֙ baṣ·ṣā·ho·ra·yim at noonday GRAM DICO
､
יְגָ֣רְשׁ֔וּהָ yə·ḡā·rə·šū·hā, they shall drive out GRAM DICO
וְעֶקְר֖וֹן wə·‘eq·rō·wn and Ekron GRAM DICO
תֵּעָקֵֽר׃ tê·‘ā·qêr. shall be uprooted GRAM DICO

כְּרֵתִ֑ים kə·rê·ṯîm; of the Cherethites GRAM DICO

דְּבַר־ də·ḇar- the word GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֣ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
עֲלֵיכֶ֗ם ‘ă·lê·ḵem, [is] against you GRAM DICO
כְּנַ֙עַן֙ kə·na·‘an Canaan GRAM DICO
､
אֶ֣רֶץ ’e·reṣ land GRAM DICO
פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים pə·liš·tîm, of the Philistines GRAM DICO
､
וְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֖יךְ wə·ha·’ă·ḇaḏ·tîḵ and I will destroy you GRAM DICO
מֵאֵ֥ין mê·’ên so there shall be no GRAM DICO
יוֹשֵֽׁב׃ yō·wō·šêḇ. inhabitant GRAM DICO

נְוֺ֛ת nə·wōṯ pastures GRAM DICO
כְּרֹ֥ת kə·rōṯ with shelters for GRAM DICO
רֹעִ֖ים rō·‘îm shepherds GRAM DICO
､
וְגִדְר֥וֹת wə·ḡiḏ·rō·wṯ and folds for GRAM DICO
צֹֽאן׃ ṣōn. flocks GRAM DICO
