וַתָּבוֹא֩ wat·tā·ḇō·w And went GRAM DICO
הָאִשָּׁ֨ה hā·’iš·šāh the woman GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
הָעָ֜ם hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
בְּחָכְמָתָ֗הּ bə·ḥā·ḵə·mā·ṯāh, in her wisdom GRAM DICO
.
וַֽיִּכְרְת֞וּ way·yiḵ·rə·ṯū And they cut off GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
רֹ֨אשׁ rōš the head GRAM DICO
שֶׁ֤בַע še·ḇa‘ of Sheba GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
בִּכְרִי֙ biḵ·rî of Bichri GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּשְׁלִ֣כוּ way·yaš·li·ḵū and threw [it] out GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
יוֹאָ֔ב yō·w·’āḇ, Joab GRAM DICO
.
וַיִּתְקַע֙ way·yiṯ·qa‘ And he blew GRAM DICO
בַּשּׁוֹפָ֔ר baš·šō·w·p̄ār, a trumpet GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּפֻ֥צוּ way·yā·p̄u·ṣū and they withdrew GRAM DICO
מֵֽעַל־ mê·‘al- from GRAM DICO
הָעִ֖יר hā·‘îr the city GRAM DICO
､
אִ֣ישׁ ’îš every man GRAM DICO
לְאֹהָלָ֑יו lə·’ō·hā·lāw; to his tent GRAM DICO

וְיוֹאָ֛ב wə·yō·w·’āḇ So Joab GRAM DICO
שָׁ֥ב šāḇ returned GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם yə·rū·šā·lim at Jerusalem GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ ham·me·leḵ. the king GRAM DICO

וּבְנָיָה֙ ū·ḇə·nā·yāh and Benaiah GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
יְה֣וֹיָדָ֔ע yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘, of Jehoiada [was] GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- over GRAM DICO
[הכרי] hak·kə·rî bodyguards GRAM
(הַכְּרֵתִ֖י) hak·kə·rê·ṯî the Cherethites GRAM DICO
וְעַל־ wə·‘al- and GRAM DICO
הַפְּלֵתִֽי׃ hap·pə·lê·ṯî. the Pelethites GRAM DICO

וַיְבַקֵּ֥שׁ way·ḇaq·qêš and inquired GRAM DICO
דָּוִ֖ד dā·wiḏ David GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
פְּנֵ֣י pə·nê of GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; Yahweh GRAM DICO

הַדָּמִ֔ים had·dā·mîm, bloodthirsty GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- that GRAM DICO
הֵמִ֖ית hê·mîṯ he killed GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַגִּבְעֹנִֽים׃ hag·giḇ·‘ō·nîm. the Gibeonites GRAM DICO

לַגִּבְעֹנִ֖ים lag·giḇ·‘ō·nîm the Gibeonites GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer and spoke GRAM DICO
אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם ’ă·lê·hem; to them GRAM DICO
וְהַגִּבְעֹנִ֞ים wə·hag·giḇ·‘ō·nîm and the Gibeonites GRAM DICO
לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO
מִבְּנֵ֧י mib·bə·nê of the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
､
הֵ֗מָּה hêm·māh, were GRAM DICO
כִּ֚י kî for GRAM DICO
אִם־ ’im- but GRAM DICO
מִיֶּ֣תֶר mî·ye·ṯer of the remnant GRAM DICO
הָאֱמֹרִ֔י hā·’ĕ·mō·rî, of the Amorites GRAM DICO
–
וּבְנֵ֤י ū·ḇə·nê and the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
נִשְׁבְּע֣וּ niš·bə·‘ū had sworn protection GRAM DICO
לָהֶ֔ם lā·hem, to them GRAM DICO
וַיְבַקֵּ֤שׁ way·ḇaq·qêš but had sought GRAM DICO
שָׁאוּל֙ šā·’ūl Saul GRAM DICO
לְהַכֹּתָ֔ם lə·hak·kō·ṯām, to kill them GRAM DICO
בְּקַנֹּאת֥וֹ bə·qan·nō·ṯōw in his zeal GRAM DICO
לִבְנֵֽי־ liḇ·nê- for the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
וִיהוּדָֽה׃ wî·hū·ḏāh. and Judah GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer Therefore said GRAM DICO
דָּוִד֙ dā·wiḏ David GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
הַגִּבְעֹנִ֔ים hag·giḇ·‘ō·nîm, the Gibeonites GRAM DICO
､
מָ֥ה māh what GRAM DICO
אֶעֱשֶׂ֖ה ’e·‘ĕ·śeh shall I do GRAM DICO
לָכֶ֑ם lā·ḵem; for you GRAM
וּבַמָּ֣ה ū·ḇam·māh and with what GRAM DICO
אֲכַפֵּ֔ר ’ă·ḵap·pêr, shall I make the atonement GRAM DICO
､
וּבָרְכ֖וּ ū·ḇā·rə·ḵū that you may bless GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
נַחֲלַ֥ת na·ḥă·laṯ the inheritance GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO
