מַדּ֨וּעַ mad·dū·a‘ why GRAM DICO
שׁוֹבְבָ֜ה šō·wḇ·ḇāh has slidden back GRAM DICO
הָעָ֥ם hā·‘ām people GRAM DICO
הַזֶּ֛ה haz·zeh this GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם yə·rū·šā·lim Jerusalem GRAM DICO
מְשֻׁבָ֣ה mə·šu·ḇāh in a backsliding GRAM DICO
؟
נִצַּ֑חַת niṣ·ṣa·ḥaṯ; perpetual GRAM DICO
הֶחֱזִ֙יקוּ֙ he·ḥĕ·zî·qū they hold fast GRAM DICO
בַּתַּרְמִ֔ית bat·tar·mîṯ, to deceit GRAM DICO
､
מֵאֲנ֖וּ mê·’ă·nū they refuse GRAM DICO
לָשֽׁוּב׃ lā·šūḇ. to return GRAM DICO

הִקְשַׁ֤בְתִּי hiq·šaḇ·tî I listened GRAM DICO
וָֽאֶשְׁמָע֙ wā·’eš·mā‘ and heard GRAM DICO
､
לוֹא־ lō·w- not GRAM DICO
כֵ֣ן ḵên aright GRAM DICO
–
יְדַבֵּ֔רוּ yə·ḏab·bê·rū, [But] they do speak GRAM DICO
אֵ֣ין ’ên No GRAM DICO
אִ֗ישׁ ’îš, man GRAM DICO
נִחָם֙ ni·ḥām repented GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- of GRAM DICO
רָ֣עָת֔וֹ rā·‘ā·ṯōw, his wickedness GRAM DICO
､
לֵאמֹ֖ר lê·mōr Saying GRAM DICO
､
מֶ֣ה meh what GRAM DICO
עָשִׂ֑יתִי ‘ā·śî·ṯî; have I done GRAM DICO
؟
כֻּלֹּ֗ה kul·lōh, Everyone GRAM DICO
שָׁ֚ב ḇ turned GRAM DICO
[במרצותם] bim·ru·ṣō·w·ṯām  -  GRAM
(בִּמְר֣וּצָתָ֔ם) bim·rū·ṣā·ṯām, to his own course GRAM DICO
､
כְּס֥וּס kə·sūs as the horse GRAM DICO
שׁוֹטֵ֖ף šō·w·ṭêp̄ rushes GRAM DICO
בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ bam·mil·ḥā·māh. into the battle GRAM DICO

גַּם־ gam- Even GRAM DICO

חֲסִידָ֣ה ḥă·sî·ḏāh the stork GRAM DICO
בַשָּׁמַ֗יִם ḇaš·šā·ma·yim, in the heavens GRAM DICO
יָֽדְעָה֙ yā·ḏə·‘āh Knows GRAM DICO
מֽוֹעֲדֶ֔יהָ mō·w·‘ă·ḏe·hā, her appointed times GRAM DICO
–
וְתֹ֤ר wə·ṯōr and the turtledove GRAM DICO
[וסוס] wə·sūs  -  GRAM
(וְסִיס֙) wə·sîs the swift GRAM DICO
וְעָג֔וּר wə·‘ā·ḡūr, and the swallow GRAM DICO
שָׁמְר֖וּ šā·mə·rū Observe GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
עֵ֣ת ‘êṯ the time GRAM DICO
בֹּאָ֑נָה bō·’ā·nāh; of their coming GRAM DICO
–
וְעַמִּ֕י wə·‘am·mî but My people GRAM DICO
לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO
יָֽדְע֔וּ yā·ḏə·‘ū, do know GRAM DICO
אֵ֖ת ’êṯ  -  GRAM DICO
מִשְׁפַּ֥ט miš·paṭ the judgment GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֵיכָ֤ה ’ê·ḵāh How GRAM DICO
תֹֽאמְרוּ֙ ṯō·mə·rū can you say GRAM DICO
､
חֲכָמִ֣ים ḥă·ḵā·mîm wise GRAM DICO
､
אֲנַ֔חְנוּ ’ă·naḥ·nū, we [are] GRAM DICO
וְתוֹרַ֥ת wə·ṯō·w·raṯ and the law GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
אִתָּ֑נוּ ’it·tā·nū; [is] with us GRAM DICO
אָכֵן֙ ’ā·ḵên truly GRAM DICO
הִנֵּ֣ה hin·nêh Look GRAM DICO
､
לַשֶּׁ֣קֶר laš·še·qer falsehood GRAM DICO
עָשָׂ֔ה ‘ā·śāh, works GRAM DICO
עֵ֖ט ‘êṭ the pen GRAM DICO
שֶׁ֥קֶר še·qer of false GRAM DICO
סֹפְרִֽים׃ sō·p̄ə·rîm. the scribe GRAM DICO

הֹבִ֣ישׁוּ hō·ḇî·šū Are ashamed GRAM DICO
､
חֲכָמִ֔ים ḥă·ḵā·mîm, the wise men GRAM DICO
חַ֖תּוּ ḥat·tū they are dismayed GRAM DICO
וַיִּלָּכֵ֑דוּ way·yil·lā·ḵê·ḏū; and taken GRAM DICO
–
הִנֵּ֤ה hin·nêh behold GRAM DICO
､
בִדְבַר־ ḇiḏ·ḇar- the word GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
–
מָאָ֔סוּ mā·’ā·sū, they have rejected GRAM DICO
וְחָכְמַֽת־ wə·ḥā·ḵə·maṯ- so wisdom GRAM DICO
מֶ֖ה meh what GRAM DICO
לָהֶֽם׃ lā·hem. do they have GRAM

לָכֵן֩ lā·ḵên Therefore GRAM DICO
אֶתֵּ֨ן ’et·tên I will give GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
נְשֵׁיהֶ֜ם nə·šê·hem their wives GRAM DICO
לַאֲחֵרִ֗ים la·’ă·ḥê·rîm, to others GRAM DICO
､
שְׂדֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙ śə·ḏō·w·ṯê·hem [And] their fields GRAM DICO
לְי֣וֹרְשִׁ֔ים lə·yō·wr·šîm, to those who will inherit [them] GRAM DICO
כִּ֤י kî because GRAM DICO
מִקָּטֹן֙ miq·qā·ṭōn from the least GRAM DICO
וְעַד־ wə·‘aḏ- and even to GRAM DICO
גָּד֔וֹל gā·ḏō·wl, the greatest GRAM DICO
כֻּלֹּ֖ה kul·lōh Everyone GRAM DICO
בֹּצֵ֣עַ bō·ṣê·a‘ is given to GRAM DICO
בָּ֑צַע bā·ṣa‘; covetousness GRAM DICO
､
מִנָּבִיא֙ min·nā·ḇî from the prophet GRAM DICO
וְעַד־ wə·‘aḏ- and even to GRAM DICO
כֹּהֵ֔ן kō·hên, the priest GRAM DICO
כֻּלֹּ֖ה kul·lōh Everyone GRAM DICO
עֹ֥שֶׂה ‘ō·śeh deals GRAM DICO
שָּֽׁקֶר׃ šā·qer. falsely GRAM DICO

וַיְרַפּ֞וּ way·rap·pū For they have healed GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
שֶׁ֤בֶר še·ḇer the hurt GRAM DICO
בַּת־ baṯ- of the daughter GRAM DICO
עַמִּי֙ ‘am·mî of My people GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO
נְקַלָּ֔ה nə·qal·lāh, slightly GRAM DICO
､
לֵאמֹ֖ר lê·mōr Saying GRAM DICO
､
שָׁל֣וֹם ׀ šā·lō·wm Peace GRAM DICO
､
שָׁל֑וֹם šā·lō·wm; peace GRAM DICO
–
וְאֵ֖ין wə·’ên and when [there is] no GRAM DICO
שָׁלֽוֹם׃ šā·lō·wm. peace GRAM DICO

הֹבִ֕שׁוּ hō·ḇi·šū Were they ashamed GRAM DICO
כִּ֥י kî when GRAM DICO
תוֹעֵבָ֖ה ṯō·w·‘ê·ḇāh abomination GRAM DICO
؟
עָשׂ֑וּ ‘ā·śū; they had committed GRAM DICO
גַּם־ gam- not GRAM DICO
､
בּ֣וֹשׁ bō·wōš at all GRAM DICO
לֹֽא־ lō- No GRAM DICO
יֵבֹ֗שׁוּ yê·ḇō·šū, they were not ashamed GRAM DICO
､
וְהִכָּלֵם֙ wə·hik·kā·lêm and to blush GRAM DICO
–
לֹ֣א lō nor GRAM DICO
יָדָ֔עוּ yā·ḏā·‘ū, did they know how GRAM DICO
לָכֵ֞ן lā·ḵên therefore GRAM DICO
יִפְּל֣וּ yip·pə·lū they shall fall GRAM DICO
בַנֹּפְלִ֗ים ḇan·nō·p̄ə·lîm, among those who fall GRAM DICO
–
בְּעֵ֧ת bə·‘êṯ in the time GRAM DICO
פְּקֻדָּתָ֛ם pə·qud·dā·ṯām of their punishment GRAM DICO
יִכָּשְׁל֖וּ yik·kā·šə·lū they shall be cast down GRAM DICO
､
אָמַ֥ר ’ā·mar says GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. Yahweh GRAM DICO
