Isaïe 40, 12

מִֽי־ mî- Who GRAM DICO

מָדַ֨ד mā·ḏaḏ has measured GRAM DICO

בְּשָׁעֳל֜וֹ bə·šā·‘o·lōw in the hollow of His hand GRAM DICO

､

מַ֗יִם ma·yim, the waters GRAM DICO

וְשָׁמַ֙יִם֙ wə·šā·ma·yim and heaven GRAM DICO

בַּזֶּ֣רֶת baz·ze·reṯ with a span GRAM DICO

､

תִּכֵּ֔ן tik·kên, Measured GRAM DICO

וְכָ֥ל wə·ḵāl and calculated GRAM DICO

בַּשָּׁלִ֖שׁ baš·šā·liš in a measure GRAM DICO

､

עֲפַ֣ר ‘ă·p̄ar the dust GRAM DICO

הָאָ֑רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ; of the earth GRAM DICO

וְשָׁקַ֤ל wə·šā·qal and Weighed GRAM DICO

בַּפֶּ֙לֶס֙ bap·pe·les in scales GRAM DICO

､

הָרִ֔ים hā·rîm, the mountains GRAM DICO

וּגְבָע֖וֹת ū·ḡə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ and the hills GRAM DICO

בְּמֹאזְנָֽיִם׃ bə·mō·zə·nā·yim. in a balance GRAM DICO

Isaïe 40, 13

מִֽי־ mî- who GRAM DICO

תִכֵּ֥ן ṯik·kên has directed GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

ר֖וּחַ rū·aḥ the Spirit GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; of Yahweh GRAM DICO

עֲצָת֖וֹ ‘ă·ṣā·ṯōw [as] His counselor GRAM DICO

יוֹדִיעֶֽנּוּ׃ yō·w·ḏî·‘en·nū. has taught Him GRAM DICO

Isaïe 40, 14

אֶת־ ’eṯ- With GRAM DICO

מִ֤י mî whom GRAM DICO

נוֹעָץ֙ nō·w·‘āṣ did He take counsel GRAM DICO

､

וַיְבִינֵ֔הוּ way·ḇî·nê·hū, and [who] instructed Him GRAM DICO

וַֽיְלַמְּדֵ֖הוּ way·lam·mə·ḏê·hū and taught Him GRAM DICO

בְּאֹ֣רַח bə·’ō·raḥ in the path GRAM DICO

מִשְׁפָּ֑ט miš·pāṭ; of justice GRAM DICO

､

וַיְלַמְּדֵ֣הוּ way·lam·mə·ḏê·hū and who taught Him GRAM DICO

דַ֔עַת ḏa·‘aṯ, knowledge GRAM DICO

､

וְדֶ֥רֶךְ wə·ḏe·reḵ and the way GRAM DICO

תְּבוּנ֖וֹת tə·ḇū·nō·wṯ of understanding GRAM DICO

יוֹדִיעֶֽנּוּ׃ yō·w·ḏî·‘en·nū. showed Him GRAM DICO

Isaïe 40, 15

הֵ֤ן hên behold GRAM DICO

､

גּוֹיִם֙ gō·w·yim the nations [are] GRAM DICO

כְּמַ֣ר kə·mar as a drop GRAM DICO

מִדְּלִ֔י mid·də·lî, in a bucket GRAM DICO

､

וּכְשַׁ֥חַק ū·ḵə·ša·ḥaq and as the small dust on GRAM DICO

מֹאזְנַ֖יִם mō·zə·na·yim the scales GRAM DICO

–

נֶחְשָׁ֑בוּ neḥ·šā·ḇū; are counted GRAM DICO

הֵ֥ן hên Look GRAM DICO

､

אִיִּ֖ים ’î·yîm the isles GRAM DICO

כַּדַּ֥ק kad·daq as a very small thing GRAM DICO

יִטּֽוֹל׃ yiṭ·ṭō·wl. He lifts up GRAM DICO

Isaïe 40, 16

וּלְבָנ֕וֹן ū·lə·ḇā·nō·wn And Lebanon GRAM DICO

אֵ֥ין ’ên [is] not GRAM DICO

דֵּ֖י dê sufficient GRAM DICO

בָּעֵ֑ר bā·‘êr; to burn GRAM DICO

､

וְחַיָּת֔וֹ wə·ḥay·yā·ṯōw, and its beasts GRAM DICO

אֵ֥ין ’ên [are] not GRAM DICO

דֵּ֖י dê sufficient for GRAM DICO

עוֹלָֽה׃ ‘ō·w·lāh. a burnt offering GRAM DICO

נֶגְדּ֑וֹ neḡ·dōw; before Him GRAM DICO

מֵאֶ֥פֶס mê·’e·p̄es less than nothing GRAM DICO

וָתֹ֖הוּ wā·ṯō·hū and worthless GRAM DICO

נֶחְשְׁבוּ־ neḥ·šə·ḇū- and they are counted GRAM DICO

וְאֶל־ wə·’el- Then to GRAM DICO

תְּדַמְּי֣וּן tə·ḏam·mə·yūn will you liken GRAM DICO

הַפֶּ֙סֶל֙ hap·pe·sel An image GRAM DICO

נָסַ֣ךְ nā·saḵ molds GRAM DICO

חָרָ֔שׁ ḥā·rāš, the workman GRAM DICO

וְצֹרֵ֖ף wə·ṣō·rêp̄ and the goldsmith GRAM DICO

בַּזָּהָ֣ב baz·zā·hāḇ with gold GRAM DICO

､

יְרַקְּעֶ֑נּוּ yə·raq·qə·‘en·nū; overspreads it GRAM DICO

וּרְתֻק֥וֹת ū·rə·ṯu·qō·wṯ and chains GRAM DICO

כֶּ֖סֶף ke·sep̄ silver GRAM DICO

צוֹרֵֽף׃ ṣō·w·rêp̄. the silversmith casts GRAM DICO

Isaïe 40, 20

הַֽמְסֻכָּ֣ן ham·suk·kān Whoever [is] too impoverished GRAM DICO

תְּרוּמָ֔ה tə·rū·māh, for [such] a contribution GRAM DICO

עֵ֥ץ ‘êṣ a tree GRAM DICO

לֹֽא־ lō- not GRAM DICO

יִרְקַ֖ב yir·qaḇ [that] will rot GRAM DICO

–

יִבְחָ֑ר yiḇ·ḥār; Chooses GRAM DICO

חָרָ֤שׁ ḥā·rāš a workman GRAM DICO

חָכָם֙ ḥā·ḵām skillful GRAM DICO

יְבַקֶּשׁ־ yə·ḇaq·qeš- He seeks GRAM DICO

ל֔וֹ lōw, for himself GRAM

לְהָכִ֥ין lə·hā·ḵîn to prepare GRAM DICO

פֶּ֖סֶל pe·sel a carved image GRAM DICO

､

לֹ֥א lō [that] not GRAM DICO

יִמּֽוֹט׃ yim·mō·wṭ. will totter GRAM DICO

Isaïe 40, 21

הֲל֤וֹא hă·lō·w Have not GRAM DICO

תֵֽדְעוּ֙ ṯê·ḏə·‘ū you known GRAM DICO

הֲל֣וֹא hă·lō·w have not GRAM DICO

תִשְׁמָ֔עוּ ṯiš·mā·‘ū, you heard GRAM DICO

הֲל֛וֹא hă·lō·w Has not GRAM DICO

הֻגַּ֥ד hug·gaḏ it been told you GRAM DICO

מֵרֹ֖אשׁ mê·rōš from the beginning GRAM DICO

לָכֶ֑ם lā·ḵem; to GRAM

הֲלוֹא֙ hă·lō·w have not GRAM DICO

הֲבִ֣ינֹתֶ֔ם hă·ḇî·nō·ṯem, you understood GRAM DICO

מוֹסְד֖וֹת mō·ws·ḏō·wṯ from the foundations GRAM DICO

הָאָֽרֶץ׃ hā·’ā·reṣ. of the earth GRAM DICO

Isaïe 40, 22

הַיֹּשֵׁב֙ hay·yō·šêḇ [it is] He who sits GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- above GRAM DICO

ח֣וּג ḥūḡ the circle GRAM DICO

הָאָ֔רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ, of the earth GRAM DICO

､

וְיֹשְׁבֶ֖יהָ wə·yō·šə·ḇe·hā and its inhabitants [are] GRAM DICO

כַּחֲגָבִ֑ים ka·ḥă·ḡā·ḇîm; like grasshoppers GRAM DICO

–

הַנּוֹטֶ֤ה han·nō·w·ṭeh who stretches out GRAM DICO

כַדֹּק֙ ḵad·dōq like a curtain GRAM DICO

､

שָׁמַ֔יִם šā·ma·yim, the heavens GRAM DICO

וַיִּמְתָּחֵ֥ם way·yim·tā·ḥêm and spreads them out GRAM DICO

כָּאֹ֖הֶל kā·’ō·hel like a tent GRAM DICO

לָשָֽׁבֶת׃ lā·šā·ḇeṯ. to dwell in GRAM DICO
